Brent and the geek squad team where amazing in getting my data 100% recovered and were extremely understanding with my time constraints. Everyone was very friendly, professional and Brent was great with quickly responding about any status of the data transfer. They went above and beyond what I expected to get all my data completely transferred. I will recommend these guys to everyone and will be back if I ever have tech problems in the future.

Best Busy staff and Geek Squad helped us purchase a new home computer and get it set up, including transfer of data from old computer. It was seemless and timely.

Our geek squad associate helped us when we had to replace our MacBook. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to help recover all of the information from our old unit and to help with the setup of the new unit.

Excellent service by Geek Squad techs. I knew my 10yr old plus, Laptop was probably gone? The Hard Drive was gone. After speaking to 2 of the staff I left the laptop so they could download the info on to a Flash Drive. Called the next day to pickup the Flash Drive. The laptop will be recycled. I had a big problem with my operating system. They had to wipe my HD to fix the problem, but they backed up all my data files including emails stored on my computer's HD. I was able to retrieve some important stuff that saved me a lot of headaches. I strongly encourage you to allow them to do this if they ask. It is a little extra money, but well worth it.

I needed to have work done on my computer, but didn't have time or motivation to perform the backup myself. Geek Squad did it for me! The last time I tried to back up my computer myself, key parts of my valued pictures and documents were not properly backed up. The Geed Squad backup is expensive, but at least I know my cherished pictures and documents are safely copied.

I asked the Geek Squad to remove the hard drive on an old computer and give it to me and dispose of the rest of the tower. This they did with flying colors. I also asked them to download the files that they could onto a thumb drive. Again, done deal. However, I need more assistance because my new laptop will not open the most of the files. I don’t recognize the file types either.

I am pretty good around a computer until something goes way wrong and then I go to Geek Squad. I bought a new computer and they transferred everything in a timely manner and were very patient with me and explained everything during the process. I bought a 2 year service contract with them and I've already chatted a couple of times when I needed help with something. It's one more thing I don't have to stress about just knowing they are there.

My old dinosaur of a computer blew up, quite literally, on my birthday. We rushed it to Best Buy hoping that it could be salvaged in some way but they said the motherboard was fried...two blown caps, unfortunately meaning she was pronounced DOA. So off to the computer department we went to buy a brand new system! After we picked out everything, we pushed our heavily loaded cart over to Geek Squad and arranged to have a data transfer done. I knew I had backed up a great deal of info on my external HD at home but I wanted it all, if it was possible. They told us it should not take more than 48-72 hours but it wound up taking 5 days due to them running into issues with the transfer. Other than the time frame that it took, they were able to get EVERYTHING from my old drive. They had the wrong folder shortcut to the desktop, there was only 109 GB of info out of 500 GB (my old HD was nearly full) so at first I was quite upset because they had told me they got it all and obviously they hadn't. BUT...after poking around the new drive as I was setting it up, installing programs etc, I found another folder that was hiding deep in the C drive with the full backup inside it! All 460 some gigs of info from my old computer was there! Needless to say I was extremely happy once I found the hidden folder. It has all been backed up to my external drive, only keeping some extremely vital pieces of info on this new drive to conserve space. If it weren't for Best Buy, fighting tooth and nail to get every drop of info off my old HD, I would have lost it all...so I am eternally grateful to them.

The staff was very professional, patient and thorough. They gave us great assistance in retrieving data from a laptop that began to malfunction. They diagnosed the problem, arranged for the repair, and took care of copying all data from the drive into the back-up, and then assisted us in loading that data back into a new laptop. They were always courteous and responsive. Great job! Thanks to the team!

I was disappointed one week after I purchased a computer at Best Buy it blew up. So I was pretty grumpy when I brought it back. However, I was told to leave the ruined computer and go look for a replacement so I chose the HP. Actually it ended up cheaper than the bad one; in addition I paid for downloading info from my old machine and the Geeks used that to now load my new computer at no charge.

Purchased a new desk top computer and geek squad transfered all data from old computer to the new one, Service completed in a timelee manner and provided excellant service.
