The Geek Squad was to transfer the files from my old HP computer to the new HP computer so I could be back up and running. Lots of complications with Outlook and iTunes made this very difficult. Rich, the local supervisor, stayed with it, however, and did an excellent job of having me fully functional on my new computer. Many, many thanks.

I am happy. We were trying to get data from my old computer to my new one, and it was a very difficult task. We did not get it all, because the old computer was a mess, but I am very glad I got what I got. These were very hard-working people who really did their best. I am therilled.

I had a lot of of old data, programs, etc. They cleaned everything up, deleted discontinued programs, etc. All of my important data was retained. I was very pleased.

My niece had my laptop and fell asleep with it on her bed, needless to say, it did not survive the night. Unfortunately the way it broke the screen was completely black so I couldn't even see what I was doing to retrieve all my files and music for the last 5 years. I went to beat buy and they transferred it onto another external hard drive I bought. Very grateful.

Took my ASUS laptop to have my data transferred to a thumb drive and Geek Squad completed the job real fast. As well as wipe out all the data on my laptop so that I could donate it to Veterans Of America.

They did great jobs on transferring data and setting up my new computer and repairing my old. They were so short handed I waited at the counter for over 30 minutes even though I had an appointment. Make sure to give yourself enough time for your appointments depending on the location.

I'm glad I backed up my files with Best Buy in Texas first before I shipped off my computer to Dell. Dell fixed my motherboard but then shipped my computer back to me to a Best Buy in Oklahoma instead of to me here in Texas! Ugh! It's been three weeks and they can't seem to find my computer to get it back to me and are giving me the run around! Errrrr.... Best Buy is great, Dell isn't!!!

I bought a replacement Hp laptop at Best Buy. The Geek Squad took it to download all my data and info. When I took it home, it worked perfectly and everything was perfect. Thanks Geek Squad!

It was such a relief to get my information transferred from my old computer that crashed to my new computer. Job well done.

Data transfer done. In addition, the data was available on SSD drive and I was able to sort thru. I did find one file that I really found beneficial, it was a old theme setting on MS7 (Japan Auturmn) that did not appear in MS10. I click on it and lo and behold it loaded and I had my favorite them back! This is very important since MS10 lacks and vibrant themes or color palette.

Both tech professionals I spoke with at Geek Squad provided clear information about the process of transferring data from my Mac to a thumb drive. They also listened well and asked good questions to find out my needs. Thank you.

I purchased a new laptop that was Windows 8.1. I had been an XP holdout so that's a little bit of a leap. I didn't want to have to learn a new operating system while also trying to move all my data from my existing tower to my new laptop so I paid to have the Geek Squad do the data transfer for me. I left my shiny new laptop and my tower with them and they called me only a couple hours later to say it was done. Fabulous!

They were able to recover and transfer all of my photos and videos from a destroyed laptop to a thumb drive.

Geeks helped to save data from a crashed laptop quickly and set my mind at ease.

Geek Squad recommended transferring data after diagnostics showed that my laptop suffered from a blown motherboard. I didn't think this was possible in this situation! Needless to say I was extremely happy & relieved to have this service available. If Geek Squad had not suggested I would have not known; the loss of hundreds of photo's and files was going to be heartbreaking!

I bought a new computer and gave my old one to my wife to replace hers. I had the Geek Squad remove the data from my computer and put it on my new computer and then take the data from my wife's old computer and install it on my old computer. Confusing enough? They called me the next morning and told me the computers were ready. They even disposed of the old computer for me. Great job guys!
