My old computer died without warning and even though I had an external back up, I hadn't done it recently enough. I bought a new computer at Best Buy and in the same day they were able to transfer all of my files from the old PC to the new one. They were very personable and professional, the data was ready exactly when promised, and they did a walk through of where the data resided on my new PC.

I really enjoyed working with the Geek Squad when I purchased a new computer. They transferred the data from my old computer. They were friendly, professional, helpful, answered questions, and worked in a timely manner. One guy wasn't sure about one thing. Perhaps needed a bit more training. But overall it was a great experience working with the geek squad. I will definitely visit them again. Thank you.

I am happy. We were trying to get data from my old computer to my new one, and it was a very difficult task. We did not get it all, because the old computer was a mess, but I am very glad I got what I got. These were very hard-working people who really did their best. I am therilled.

They went overboard to transfer data and to convert files. Plus did it quickly.

This backup was went well. My only problems with it was having to keep making the journey to Best Buy over and over because the closest one is far from where I live. I had to make the journey each time to drop my laptop and get it sent for diagnosis, to drop off the flash drive for them to put the backup data in, and finally to get the flash back. The files were intact when I got them and everything was in order.

The Geek Squad was to transfer the files from my old HP computer to the new HP computer so I could be back up and running. Lots of complications with Outlook and iTunes made this very difficult. Rich, the local supervisor, stayed with it, however, and did an excellent job of having me fully functional on my new computer. Many, many thanks.

Smooth transfer of all files from old laptop to new. Tech was great at making suggestions on how to clean up files and maximize storage space.

My Apple laptop failed to go beyond boot-up. It needed extensive work, data backup and transfer, along with installation of anti-virus software. Mr. Zia explained the whole process and recommended a yearly Geek Squad Membership, which has paid for itself. Follow-up emails advised me when work was begun and completed. I am happy with the data transfer but had to leave my computer/data overnight after I had been told that it would only take about 20 minutes. There seems to be some communication problem between the Best Buy Salesmen and the Geek Squad. I figured things out. There wasn't much of an explanation from the tech but to be fair, I was in a hurry.

My niece had my laptop and fell asleep with it on her bed, needless to say, it did not survive the night. Unfortunately the way it broke the screen was completely black so I couldn't even see what I was doing to retrieve all my files and music for the last 5 years. I went to beat buy and they transferred it onto another external hard drive I bought. Very grateful.

I purchased a new All-in-one PC. I brought my old laptop to the store to have the applications and data transferred to the new PC. Everything was in perfect order!

My computer crusher and I had important work info trapped on the device. I took it to Geek Squad to see if they could possibly retrieve it. It took a couple of days due to them being backed up. I explained my situation, and the representative expedited my request.. We got most of the data back, however the two files I really needed could not be found. Outstanding effort though.

Geek squad transferred info and files from my old I-Pad to a new one. Transfer was quick and everything came over as expected including several thousand photos and videos. I have used Geek Squad for several things over the past two years and all have gone well.

Large capacity drive, fast, easy, convenient. Would purchase again if needed!
