This is a great service. If you are not tech savvy like me this service is great. Bought a new laptop and they transferred all my data from my old to new. Saved me the hassle trying to figure it out myself.

Geek Squad helped to transfer all files, documents, photos, videos, etc., from old computer to new computer. They installed security software, did updates and then did a diagnostic test. They answered all questions and made the process go smoothly. My new computer works just like it's supposed to!

I brought in my late wife's old computer to have the photos and documents transferred to my new computer. Not only was her computer old, but it had been freezing up and would not open. The Geek Squad rep told me it might take a day, which was fine. Believe it or not, less then three hours later they called to tell me I could pick up my computer. These folks are great!

Data recovery was done in one day - much appreciated the fast service I just wish it could be accomplished without all the programs not being transferred also. A big chore for me and since I'm not a Techie -difficult, but it wasn't impossible to do it just takes me a while to understand the how and the instructions.

Excellent service! I am for my appointment. They took my computer and told me the process for the repair. Told me what I needed to back up my data. Recommended the right storage device. Once, I checked in my computer, I received regular status alerts. Excellent service from start to finish.

The Geek Squad provided us with sound advice and assisted us with the recovery of data from a damaged disk operating system. We were most concerned that our data was lost and irrecoverable, however Heath, the Geek Squad representative, and his team did everything possible to successfully recover our data.

I recently purchased a new computer for my office. Rather than work on the data transfer myself, I enlisted the fast and friendly service provided by the Geek Squad. I dropped off my old computer and they completed the transfer while I had lunch and completed a couple of errands. All data was transferred accurately and I have had no issues accessing the old data on my new computer.

Agents were very courteous and helpful with setting up my computer transfer after my old one crashed. Explained everything to me so I understood what was going on.

For the most part the staff was very good. They appeared to know what they were doing. When a problem arose they promptly contacted me and we resolved the issue. Work was accomplished before they said it would be finished.

They were helpful and informative and recovered all my photos. I'll never lose them again since they've been put onto this drive.

Agents transfered my files and data from my old laptop to my new laptop and did a complete and thorough job. I have had this service done with a previous computer at a different retailer and I don't think it was nearly as thorough. Very satisfied with the data transfer and set up of my new laptop.

My set-up and data transfer was completed in a VERY timely manner and they even went to the trouble to look up appropriate files to transfer my (OLD) printer! And put the link smack in the middle of the screen, instructing me how to get it all set, when I picked it up. And I was given my old hard drive and they re-cycled my old machine! What more could you want????

I liked the service I received from the Geek Squad representative and I was pleased with the data transfer.

The Geek squad was awesome. They transferred all necessary, and wanted, documents, videos etc. from my very old non-working computer to my new one. It took them only one day, and they described in detail what the issue was, and how they fixed it. They also helped me navigate some new features on my new computer. I would definitely recommend using their services.

When we decided to get a new computer we were wondering how we were going to get all of the information from the old to the new. Thankfully the helpful staff at Geek Squad took care of it for us. Not only did they transfer all of our data, but they gave us a good estimate of how long it would take so that we could plan the best time to come in without interrupting our usage.

My dog didn't eat my homework, but my cat threw up on my laptop and it seeped in overnight. Geek Squad was able to retrieve all the info from my hard drive. Didn't have to wait long to speak to them - the online appointments are a huge help - and they were very helpful and friendly. Explained everything to me, thought the price was very reasonable, the had it done earlier than they projected.

Although they weren’t able to recover my information, the service was really good. Staff were courteous and extremely helpful
