I made the decision at the advice of The Geek Squad to put a new hard drive into my laptop. I was pleased at how quickly they were able to transfer my data and get my computer back to me. It was a great decision.

Great job backing up and transfering all date from old system to new device.

my 2.5 year old PC tower got knocked over , the video card got destroyed , i decided to get a new gaming PC from Best Buy , also i got the one year Tech Support , Agent A. did the data transfer , he was able to recover and transfer everything great job , all i had to do was boot it up add a couple things and go . Thanks !!!

With the data recovery service I was able to get my daughter's newborn pictures back with various other documents. I was treated with respect and everything was very open. There were no hidden fees or unexpected charges. My only complaint is that I was not notified when the service was complete. I just happened to call and inquire when I felt it was necessary.

The agents backed up all of my files before transferring to my new computer. Great job!!!!!

They got all my data from my fried laptop and put it on my new one. I asked for my fonts and bookmarks too but I didn't get them. I forgot to check on those when I was reviewing things at the store before signing the paper saying all was good. But really if that's all I lost I have no room to complain. They were very kind.

Transferred most everything from my old MacBook to the new MacBook with the exception of my iphontos

Had data transfer onto new computer a month ago and have had no issues. The techs that helped me were excellent.

When my computer crapped out I was worried that I would lose all the pictures that I had on the hard drive. Especially since the majority of them were irreplaceable including pics of a deceased loved one. They came through with fixing the computer and restoring everything the way it was before, including the pictures. Thank you Geek Squad!

I had an issue w/my first computer. Took it into Geek Squad 2 days after purchase, they ended up having to give me another computer. At first, they told me they may not be able to get all my files. I was like, ok. As long as I get my computer working, I'll be a happy camper. Well, they worked their magic & I got all my files!! Woohoo!!

Great computer for the price! Windows 8 takes a little getting used to, but it's much easier to use than my old XP. Love the touch screen, and it's easy to clean. Navigation is as simple as it gets! Surfing is also fast and easy, with plenty of storage space for every thing. I would have no problem recommending this laptop to family and friends.

The installation of the new 2TB Drive I purchased from Best Buy and the data transfer from my old Drive to the new Drive were literally done overnight. I was amazed at the super quick service and everything was absolutely perfect when I got the computer home and checked out. Each of the Techs I spoke with were exceptionally knowledgeable and very, very helpful. I could not be happier with my Best Buy / Geek Squad experience.

We had to have our computer fixed because it wasn't working. We had to have the antivirus replaced so we now use Webroot which seems to be okay so far. We had our data backed up and a copy of it was put on a flash drive for our personal use. We were very happy with the Best Buy team. And it was all done at minimal cost! That's the best part!

When my cats decided to spill my drink over my laptop (not a fun time), I had lost the ability to use or access my files for school. When I explained my situation to the Geek Squad, they were so nice and had everything transferred over for me on my new laptop. Everything was there and exactly how I had it on my old laptop. The staff there are amazing. I can’t remember all their names, but the three young men that are always there during the week during like the business hours amazing their customer service skills top-notch. They’re knowledge and patience, which is a virtue are exemplary and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I am an advertisement for you guys because I tell people this is where you need to go. They did an excellent job, transferring all my files to my new computer, and they were helpful, courteous, and gave good information to the customer.

I purchased this, at the recommendation of the store rep, to back up my memory to move to my new lap top computer. It seems to work very well and I like the idea of having an additional copy of my important docs and pictures in case something goes wrong - technology is fickle - back up everything!

Purchased an IMacac and had the Geek Squad transfer all of our old Dell memory to the new computer, add new software, and clean up our our old Dell. Great service with a two to three day turnaround , particularly now that the snowbirds had left Scottsdale for the summer. Service during the winter season is always understaffed and somewhat of a hassle.

I am a geek squad member in there repa0ir program. Had a crash after a Microsoft update & had to have computer rebooted. I was going to loose pictures & files but kinda felt at there mercy to save it with there service for 90 bucks. 16 gigs seems pretty pricy but they got the info along with my favorites on explorer

Geek technician was extremely helpful and worked with me to ensure all data was transferred from my old computer. However, I was disappointed that I did not get a backup of the operating system on the new computer, which like the installation of Kaspersky I had to do after I realized it hadn't been done by Geek tech.
