The geek squad understand my problem and was able to repair it within a short time. (had been hacked)

Has all of my data transferred perfectly. Was done quickly.

I am not computer smart and can only go by the recommendation of the salesman. It happened to be on sale, but it was still expensive (as most accessories are I am finding out). I used it right after purchasing it and the instructions actually were easy to understand. I hope down the road that it doesn't fail and does what it is intended to do.

my son's laptop died and he needed the data from his laptop in order to continue his work. Geek Squad came to the rescue and after I purchased a flash drive, they were able to backup his data and remove the solid state drive from his now extinct laptop

It's been a frustrating experience spending thousands of dollars on a new PC but it's time to, as it cannot use Windows 11, the only reason I bought new, I am usually a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" , I brought the only PC I own, that was in excellent working order for data transfer to new PC. They returned it to me when I picked up my new PC. I had to ask for it, they brought it out several minutes later saying nothing about it just here it is. At home having lots of problems with how the geek squad setup new PC (e.g., all of my data was placed into one folder on the dektop aalmost 1-1/2 TB of data. I had requested at check-in they be careful and understand my old PC had both a SSD "C" drive and a "D" 2TB hard drive not to duplicate data between the two drives. My PC was returned broken. No one said anything to me about it. What I found was its hard drive cables diosconnected and hanging free. Also one other single wire. I was told they didn't plug HD back in because it would not bootup for them. Now I am trying to be made whole - anytime any business in America damages your item in their care the company apologizes and makes things right. I am still waitng for this to happen being told by the Knoxville. TN Best Buy store they will not fix it saying not sure they can even find a motherboard. Fact: my PC worked I used it to print the activities listed online in my appointment notification the night before. Considering one cannot call a store anymore it just rolls the call to an outsourced low skill level call center, and it is 2-1/2 hours of driving I reached out to corporate help. I hope they do. I'll update after this is resolved one way or another, I left out the numerous other issues involving billing, Geek Squad Plans, and account errors. Best Buy do the right thing.

I needed to have my laptop hard drive replaced because windows 10 was not working. I could not start up my computer and took it to Best Buy and had the Geek Squad guys take a look. They recommended to have an SSD drive replace my old hard drive and that did the trick. They backed up all my data and files in a very timely matter and my laptop is like new

The techs at the in store Geek Squad were great at transferring data from one laptop to another for me. Great $ for the service if you have a total tech plan!

PC Laptop died, needed to back up documents and pictures before it was layed to rest. Thank you Geek Squad for backing up to a memory stick for me. You saved my life. I had on line back up, but that does not work on new Apple laptop. I could have done it on my own, would have taken me forever and been very complicated for me. Thanks. All is well.

The Geek Squad was able to transfer all of my data, files, etc., from my old computer to the new one. Problems with the old computer but wasn't sure if they could transfer it all, but it worked. First informed me that it would take 3-5 days, but I got a call stating it was ready the day after I purchased the new computer. Great service!

I needed to have data pulled off of a laptop hard drive, which would no longer boot. Very smooth process and was done in just a few days (BB was really busy, otherwise it would have taken less time). Tech was knowledgeable.

Needed to have photos retrieved from my old computers. Everyone who was involved in this was AWESOME. I told them I needed the photos for my mother's Celebration of Life and they completed the task and had it back to me within about 12 hours. I was very impressed and would highly recommend the Pinole store.

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to isolate that my computer had a hardware issue and it was not financially feasible to fix it. They were able to save my data and transfer it to a portable drive, so I can't ask for much more than that.

Geek Squad did a bang up job in transferring data from my old to new laptop. They did everything I asked. Answer all of my questions. And, let me sit off to the side while I checked everything out. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly service.

I have always enjoyed the work done by the Geek Squad. As a precaution I get the coverage assuming I will NOT use it. I am usually wrong! I am older and not tech-savvy so any questions I have or anything I need done, the Geek Squad or other Best Buy folks, help me. The backup and data transfer went well and everything done was explained to me.

I needed to replace my wife's old laptop as it was getting really slow and she was getting frustrated with it. When I purchased a new HP Envy for her, I got the Geek Squad to transfer all of her files over. Everything was moved and it was a painless project. They even gave me a $10 discount since I bought the computer from them. These guys rock.

I have purchased the Geek Squad contract for about 5 years now. Very satisfied, they are so helpful and try so hard to satisfy you. For the yearly price, it is a great value. Was satisfied with the data transfer, they did it exactly as I want it and put it on an external hard drive as well.
