Brought my laptop in to see why it wouldn't come on. I found out that something had been spilled on it. They were able to retrieve my hard drive and i was an sd card for what was on the hard drive. Im forever grateful.

Everything was transferred, but I have an issue with Microsoft that has another person's name as owner. I am the only one to use this computer since picking it up at Best Buy. Plan on taking it back to see why this person has ownership and I can't delete it.

Data transfer service was performed quickly and thoroughly. No files were lost in the process. Explanation of location and accessing of transferred files was clear and thorough.

Geek Squad visited my home to set this up for me. After about a week or so, my 5+ year-old HP computer lost its internet capabilities and had to be replaced. Geek Squad handled the data transfer, but I'm not sure my automatic backups are in place anymore. Will have to have it checked out, I guess.

The Geek squad, far exceeded my expectations. they transferred all my data, pictures and files. Got home and and just plugged and played, and was such a relief, to have a new computer and all my "stuff" in working order

For a person such as myself who is Technology Challenged one of the best services to purchase. Every time I called the Representatives have been courteous and knowledgeable and if that Rep. could not figure out the problem they would give to to someone who could. Also great that they can have remote access to my computer and do their own thing to get the problem fixed :)

Have use the service not much and it appears that issue I had was resolved.

I brought in a "dead" computer in the vain hope that they could retrieve my tax info...they not only could, but they told me my computer was fixable, found my files and transferred the ones I needed to an external hard drive for me! I am computer illiterate, so they explained it very slowly and thoroughly with a lot of smiles too-thanks!!

I'm very impressed with the Macedonia Ohio geek squad! They did an outstanding job transferring my data to my new computer in a very timely manner. I was afraid it would take a few days to get it done, but they called me early the next day to let me know it was complete. They even reviewed my files with me to make sure they all transferred.

Your team turn around my computer within days. They recovered my files and I am tooooo happy and over the moon. Great Job Geek Squad.

Geek Squad quickly got my laptop back to working order within the promised time frame. All of my data was recovered. The operating system was updated & I got it back working faster. They helped to reinstall some of the software that I would otherwise not have been able to recover from home. I highly recommend getting this service!

I had to retire my old desk top computer. I was given very helpful suggestions and information on how to get files transferred to the new replacement computer that I purchased at Best Buy. All important files were successfully transferred in a very timely manner, actually quicker than the estimated time. Very pleased..

I am very impressed with the services that the Geek Squad offers! I have not yet made an appt.to go in for some help and tips for my new laptop but was assured that the help will be there. we also discussed my android phone that I purchased from Verizon and desperately need help on which Verizon was glad to provide for extra money and that the Geek squad was able to work with me under my Best buy plan I purchased.Wow!

Geek Squad agents are always great! They backed up my data so that I wouldn't have any issues with my MacBook. My laptop was locked up and I couldn't get into it. They solved my problem very quickly!

I went to the Geek Squad to discuss an error that came up on my computer. As we discussed the issue, the geek squad members were extremely polite and helpful.. They explained solutions and we finally decided it was best to transfer the data. When I took the computer in they completed the service in less time then they projected. I am satisfied.

Just got the Samsung Galaxy S5 (which I love, BTW), and needed my phone synced to my car. I didn't know how to do it, so asked the Geek Squad to once again come to my rescue. Took less than 15 minutes! Purchasing the Geek Squad program is one of the best things my husband and I ever did - we are far from geeks but VERY grateful for our wonderful Best Buy Geeks! Thanks!

I don't like spending the extra money on extras, but, if I hadn't paid for the Data Transfer and Back-up, I would have lost precious pictures from 3 family member that passed away 10 years ago in a car accident. This was worth the $80 price this time around. I thought the service covered more than it did, but once all was explained, I was good with it.
