My data transfer was completed quickly and before the expected time, which was really nice bc I was feeling a little anxiety about not having my files within my immediate reach. Then the guy explained all that had been done and asked me to check my files to feel comfortable that everything was done to my satisfaction. Great experience!

I thought I had lost all my photos and everything on my laptop. Immediately I called Geek Squad and they said they would do their best, although it was no guarantee! In a few days I received the call and thankfully everything had been transferred to my new computer. I didn't lose anything - Thank you GEEK SQUAD!!

The gentleman was very thorough and quickly transferred my data from my old i pad to the new one. Very helpful.

I had just purchased a new Samsung high end laptop computer. Not being a "techie." I need the Geek Squad to transfer all of my information/files from my old computer to my new laptop. They did a fine job. I recommend them if you are not a "techie," and need to transfer files.

My computer froze and would not reboot, so I took it to the Geek Squad to have it fixed. They had to reinstall Windows 10 and all the program that come with a new system, but they saved all my data and did their best to reconfigure the computer just as it had been before the crash. And since then, it's been working fine.

This service was used to transfer data and pictures from an older laptop to a newly purchased laptop. I provided them with a list of data and directories to copy over and this was completed on the same day after I left the computer off. They also upgraded and installed a few software products as well. Very pleased with the service.

My phone is easy to use and i'm able to get messages and emails in a timely manner .I am not email /computer savvy. My questions have been answered in a way I can understand . When the phone needed the geek squad to remedy a problem, it was easy to see they were knowledgable in the service.

I had a so called super charger that messed up my old computer and burned my mother board up so I had to get a new computer & had to get all my data transferred over & the Geek Squad was able to do it without a problem & me not miss a beat with my computer info. I have always had a great experience with the Geek Squad so far so good.

My old MacBook unexpectedly crashed for good and I decided to switch back to windows-based laptops. Fortunately, I had backed up to an external drive -- but the apple format wasn't compatible with windows. Best Buy had all the tools to do the conversion and send me home with a new HP laptop and all my data! Easy and worry-free.

The technicians told me it would be Monday when they would have my data transfer completed, but they completed the job Saturday which was the next day after I brought my laptop in. I was pleasantly suprised.

Transfer was fast. I got a call 2 hours after I left my computers with them to have transfer done. Expected time was the next day. My only reason for not giving a 5 star is that they installed Google so that it interfered with my installing safety programs. Took 4 hours to get it off.

The service and backup is done well but very overpriced!

Geek Squad did a great job with the data transfer. All information was uploaded to my new pc. Very satisfied,

My hard-drive went out so I had to buy a new computer. I was not worried about losing my data because I was using Carbonite to back-up my 20+ years of data. However, when I called Carbonite about restoring my data, I was told they could only restore what was on my desktop because that was all I had checked when I signed up. Two people tried to transfer my data from my old hard-drive to my new computer but were unable to do so because my old hard-drive was too damaged. I took my old hard-drive to Geek Squad at Best Buy and by the next day they had transferred all my data to a new device. I will forever be grateful to the Geek Squad agent that restored my info. It is a horrible feeling to lose so many years of work but they came through with flying colors ! I highly recommend them. They are friendly, prompt and super knowledgeable.

The Geek squad tested our computer and found the hard drive failed 3 of 5 tests. We had them install a new drive and transfer all of our old data to the new drive . this saved a ton of re entering and also saved all of our family photos. We could not be more pleased with their performance. I will not hesitate to use their services again

My laptop died and I had things on it I wanted to keep. I had the Geek Squad take the old files, pictures and put them on my newly purchased laptop. They also put a desk top icon that I could easily click on to find what I was looking far, It was called Geek Squad Backup. Was glad my local Best Buy Geek Squad guys were so fast.

The Squad did a great job of transferring my data from my old computer to the new one. There was a problem with some of the files, and they put in a greater than expected effort on solving the issue. Then they took the time to help me get started with the new Windows. That was totally unexpected and GREATLY appreciated. Everyone there was professional and polite.

An old Seagate external hard drive failed, and I could not retrieve the files stored on the device. Geek Squad tech was able to retrieve the data, much to my infinite relief. They had to crack the case open (they warned me beforehand that they would probably have to do it), but that was OK because I needed to buy a new external HD anyway.

I bought a new HP one touch desk computer . Took my old one into Geek Squad and they transferred everything to the new one. It works great. They destroyed my old computer so I dont have to be bothered with it. I always have Geek Squad. They are miracles. Thank you soooo much
