It took awhile because of people being out sick but it was done accurately.

My old laptop crashed and I needed to replace it. My first concern was to see if my files and data were retrievable. So I went to my local Best Buy store and a Geek Squad member took a look at my hard drive and reassured me that the files were in tact. I bought another laptop that day and they transferred the files to the new laptop.

Brought my laptop in to see why it wouldn't come on. I found out that something had been spilled on it. They were able to retrieve my hard drive and i was an sd card for what was on the hard drive. Im forever grateful.

I bought a new HP one touch desk computer . Took my old one into Geek Squad and they transferred everything to the new one. It works great. They destroyed my old computer so I dont have to be bothered with it. I always have Geek Squad. They are miracles. Thank you soooo much

Geek squad backed up all my data during a repair of my desktop computer. They put everything in a folder on the desktop which was very easily accessible. What I was not aware of is that the data is not where it was prior to back up. It's categorized within the folder they created. I did not find this to be a problem though.

Great job backing up and transfering all date from old system to new device.

The team gave me expert advise about which OS I shouldbuy to replace Windows XP on my laptop, and suggested Windows 7 (laptop unable to handle Windows 8). Since Best Buy did not have the program in stock, they ordered it for me, let know when it came in and loaded it onto my laptop. Everything else I could do myself. - The team was great, friendly, efficient.

I got in a bind when I had to transfer the data from my old machine to the new one.The people at Best Buy Geek Squad were more than accommodating and each one of them had a great attitude ad knowledge of their products and procedures. The price wasn't bad and neither was the time it took to do the transfer. I recommend this to anyone.

When laptop failed to boot and could not access any information stored, Geek Squad was able to recover, save and store data on separate storage device in order to allow access via a different laptop, to all stored data on the original defective laptop. The fix was extremely quick and process was efficient.

The agents were able to save all of my files to a hard drive, upgrade laptop to Windows and and reinstall my files. This was done quickly. More importantly it was done in a friendly and professional manner, with patience, support and offering understanding.

When my computer failed the Geek Squad helped me choose what services best fit my needs and back up of all information was extremely important to me as I keep books in my excel program. They did a great job and made sure everything was up to snuff in all areas. I will definitely be using them for all future needs and repairs.

The technicians told me it would be Monday when they would have my data transfer completed, but they completed the job Saturday which was the next day after I brought my laptop in. I was pleasantly suprised.

The Geek Squad successfully transferred the data from my old device's hard drive to my new laptop. My old laptop stopped working due to a lack of memory. Since the laptop was 5 years old, I purchased a new laptop instead of repairing the old one, so the Geek Squad transferred the data from the hard drive to my new device.

My phone is easy to use and i'm able to get messages and emails in a timely manner .I am not email /computer savvy. My questions have been answered in a way I can understand . When the phone needed the geek squad to remedy a problem, it was easy to see they were knowledgable in the service.

I had just purchased a new Samsung high end laptop computer. Not being a "techie." I need the Geek Squad to transfer all of my information/files from my old computer to my new laptop. They did a fine job. I recommend them if you are not a "techie," and need to transfer files.

Transfer was fast. I got a call 2 hours after I left my computers with them to have transfer done. Expected time was the next day. My only reason for not giving a 5 star is that they installed Google so that it interfered with my installing safety programs. Took 4 hours to get it off.

When I spilled a beverage on my computer, I was forced to buy another computer because it was cheaper to buy and back up the data then getting my old computer fixed. The turn around time to backup the data on my new computer was only a few days. All the documents and music from old computer was all there. Great job!!!

Brought my laptop in to Best Buy to the Geek Squad when my laptop died. Purchased a hard drive from Best Buy to transfer my data. Geek Squad called me 4 days later and had copied my information to new hard drive successfully. Very satisfied with their service.

The Store representative was very knowledgeable and helpful for my purchase of a new PC, answering all my questions with a clear understanding. The new PC was delivered in a timely basis. Before delivery he informed me how I could save money with an annual membership opposed to a 2-year protection plan. Unfortunately, I don't have his name to give him the credit he deserves in this revue.

We had numerous problems with our original tablet, which was replaced by Microsoft. The Geek Squad members were a tremendous help in assisting us with the information we needed to get this done and they saved all our information and transferred it to our new Tablet when it came in. We were very pleased with all their assistance!!!
