The team gave me expert advise about which OS I shouldbuy to replace Windows XP on my laptop, and suggested Windows 7 (laptop unable to handle Windows 8). Since Best Buy did not have the program in stock, they ordered it for me, let know when it came in and loaded it onto my laptop. Everything else I could do myself. - The team was great, friendly, efficient.

When my computer failed the Geek Squad helped me choose what services best fit my needs and back up of all information was extremely important to me as I keep books in my excel program. They did a great job and made sure everything was up to snuff in all areas. I will definitely be using them for all future needs and repairs.

The Geek Squad successfully transferred the data from my old device's hard drive to my new laptop. My old laptop stopped working due to a lack of memory. Since the laptop was 5 years old, I purchased a new laptop instead of repairing the old one, so the Geek Squad transferred the data from the hard drive to my new device.

The geek squad did an awesome job backing up all my files. The only drawback is it took longer than I expected, but they really have so much work and wanted to make sure they did not make any mistakes! I would definitely recommend them to anyone for honest service that they can literally backup!

After bringing my computer, there were some files I couldn't find. Upon returning to the store, the Geek squad spent several hours locating the files and then were very patient explaining where the information was and how to find it. They worked professionally and efficiently.

Geeks transferred from a dead Dell to a Lenovo, and did great, but it was a lemon. Transferred again to another new one, did fine, except they needed to go back to the lemon to get all my bookmarks transferred right. But Geeks stuck with it, did the job, faith restored.

Geek Squad service agents from check-in to pick up provided excellent service. Laptop data transfer/backup was completed in a couple days (sooner than the 1 week timeframe). Very satisfied.

This is a good service, which allows data from a machine that is being replaced to be transferred a new machine. The service is limited to a certain degree in that programs and other protected intellectual properties cannot be transferred even when proof of ownership can be established.

Traded in an old malfunctioning desktop for a new computer. The in-store Geek Squad took care of all the data transfer. We just let them do their thing and it worked out just fine for us.

When I spilled a beverage on my computer, I was forced to buy another computer because it was cheaper to buy and back up the data then getting my old computer fixed. The turn around time to backup the data on my new computer was only a few days. All the documents and music from old computer was all there. Great job!!!

Brought a new computer and had the Greek squad transfer all of my data and files from my old computer to the new one

I have been a PC user my entire life and finally took the plunge and purchased an iMAC. I needed to have my data transferred from my PC to my new iMAC and had the Geek Squad do because I could not. The data transfer went well except for the MS Outlook transfer. They said my iMAC was ready to go so I went to pick up both my computers. When I got home I found that my Mac Outlook was not done properly. So back we went. It took them about 3 times to get it right. They had to do it many times because it gave them a very hard time. They had to do research on-line and after 3-4 attempts they finally got it done. Needless to say it was a real pain in the rear. I had to take both computers back to the store a few times and that was totally inconvenient, especially since I had to pay good money to have it done. It should have been done right the first time. I would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the Outlook problems.

My data transfer was part of my repair so my wife was able to access all her files after the process was completed. I feel confident my information is protected during this process

We had numerous problems with our original tablet, which was replaced by Microsoft. The Geek Squad members were a tremendous help in assisting us with the information we needed to get this done and they saved all our information and transferred it to our new Tablet when it came in. We were very pleased with all their assistance!!!

Went to them when my HP desktop and monitor froze. Motherboard was just about gone, RIP. They helped me with my new computer decision, transferred my data from the old to the new Lenovo laptop. They were professional, responsive, and pretty fast turnaround. I signed up for the 2 year service and extended warranty on my laptop too.

I had my data from my old computer transferred to my new one. The tech worked really hard to get it done quickly for my business computer. When I came the next day to pick it up, he was so helpful! He showed me all the new and unfamiliar features. He was very patient, explaining to me in laymanssimplify terms so I could understand!

VERY HELPFUL IN RECOVERY OF DATA FROM CRASHED DISK. HOWEVER, TECHS NEED TO EXPLAIN BETTER WHICH PRIOR PURCHASE ITEM WOULD OR WOULD NOT TRANSFER OVER. I HAVE TO GO BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO HAVE REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS INSTALLED. OTHERWISE EXCELLENT JOB ABD THEY SAFE MY DATA FROM LOSS.

My Hard drive was starting to fail after 5/2 years. Geek Squad did an outstanding job of transferring all the data from the old drive to the new hard drive. They were co-operative in transferring all the data that i wantd and needed, including the downloads. This has reduced my effort to get back up and running. Great Job!!!

Overall, the transfer was what I expected. I went from a Dell computer running windows xp office edition to an iMac. I needed all of the documents and pictures to be transferred to the iMac and being new to the iMac, needed some help as how to navigate to the transferred items. Everything was done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. Very well done.
