I took in a broken, dead computer. Black screen. Didn’t turn on. I usually save things to different flashes by category but I had some important things I put on the desktop while working on them. Plus all my music from CDs. I didn’t think it was possible but they got everything. Talk about relieved!!

The young man who helped me knew I was upset due to circumstances I was dealing with very kind took me back to help me find a computer tower that would fit my needs and not have things I didn't need set me up and transferred all my old information couldn't ask for anyone more helpful especially in such an emotional situation

This service saved me! The workers also know what they are doing 100%! I purchased a new computer becuase my old computer crashed. Geek squad recovered my documents and important files for $100. This service was well worth the money. I tried to do it on my own with a SATA converter and was unsuccessful. Thank you geek squad!

My computer died suddenly and i had not backed up my file in several months, since the machine would not start and i am not an expert in any remote way i had Best buy move my files to the new computer, it worked great and although i thought it cost more then it should i was happy to be current.

I have not used it yet but paid for and planned to use to replace the hard drive and update older computer. This is good as a package with the purchase and think it is going to be helpful and was a much discounted rate when purchased as a package with new item and programs.

The geek squad did an awesome job backing up all my files. The only drawback is it took longer than I expected, but they really have so much work and wanted to make sure they did not make any mistakes! I would definitely recommend them to anyone for honest service that they can literally backup!

Fast, friendly and great service . From drop off to pick up it was simple and the young man assisting me was so personable and explained things in a manner that I understood.

I recently had my computer die completely. There was no bringing it back to life. It was unexpected and I had not been consistent with my backups. I planned on getting a new computer but not that soon so my files were all over the place. The Geek squad transferred all the files nicely to my new computer in less than a day.

This is a good service, which allows data from a machine that is being replaced to be transferred a new machine. The service is limited to a certain degree in that programs and other protected intellectual properties cannot be transferred even when proof of ownership can be established.

I never thought that I had much of any importance on my computer, but when it died, I panicked. Turns out that all of my personal junk was very important to me! When I learned that all of my old junk could be transferred to my new computer, I was delighted! The Geek Squad did a great job of doing just that! Perfect!

Geek Squad service agents from check-in to pick up provided excellent service. Laptop data transfer/backup was completed in a couple days (sooner than the 1 week timeframe). Very satisfied.

Geeks transferred from a dead Dell to a Lenovo, and did great, but it was a lemon. Transferred again to another new one, did fine, except they needed to go back to the lemon to get all my bookmarks transferred right. But Geeks stuck with it, did the job, faith restored.

Traded in an old malfunctioning desktop for a new computer. The in-store Geek Squad took care of all the data transfer. We just let them do their thing and it worked out just fine for us.

The agent was able to remove negative attack and save all my files. Excellent job!

I have been a PC user my entire life and finally took the plunge and purchased an iMAC. I needed to have my data transferred from my PC to my new iMAC and had the Geek Squad do because I could not. The data transfer went well except for the MS Outlook transfer. They said my iMAC was ready to go so I went to pick up both my computers. When I got home I found that my Mac Outlook was not done properly. So back we went. It took them about 3 times to get it right. They had to do it many times because it gave them a very hard time. They had to do research on-line and after 3-4 attempts they finally got it done. Needless to say it was a real pain in the rear. I had to take both computers back to the store a few times and that was totally inconvenient, especially since I had to pay good money to have it done. It should have been done right the first time. I would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the Outlook problems.

THIS WORKED PERFECT. auto accident in florida totaled car and dell tower. they were able to save hard drive and put on new computer for me. GOOD JOB !!

Geek Squad backed up all my important files. They did it in record time as well.

VERY HELPFUL IN RECOVERY OF DATA FROM CRASHED DISK. HOWEVER, TECHS NEED TO EXPLAIN BETTER WHICH PRIOR PURCHASE ITEM WOULD OR WOULD NOT TRANSFER OVER. I HAVE TO GO BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO HAVE REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS INSTALLED. OTHERWISE EXCELLENT JOB ABD THEY SAFE MY DATA FROM LOSS.

The gentleman was very thorough and quickly transferred my data from my old i pad to the new one. Very helpful.
