If you ever need your computer backed up, cleaned up or fix geek squad is the way to go

The agent transferred the data from an old computer to a back up drive so that the computer could be recycled. This was accomplished in a timely manner.

Had desk top issues so I turned to the Geek squad for help. They strongly suggested I backbup all the data onto an external hard drive. The consultant picked one out for me and did the back up and, after servicing the desktop, restored all the data back. Very competent group of people working at the Geek Squad!

The Geek Squad agents did an excellent job syncing and transferring data, apps, etc. from my old iPad Pro to my new iPad Pro as part of my Total Tech Support.

Our initial contact at purchase was not smooth or good with our product. A lot of confusion on what could or could not be done, Lots of computer input and little service Service go very good once we called and had someone take over our computer. From that point very happy.

The Geek squad reinstalled all my programs to my laptop after I was having a problem with it freezing and shutting down. My software needed to be reinstalled and they were able to do this and save all my data and pictures. Now my laptop run like a new laptop, Thanks

I bought my new computer and I'm not very computer savvy so this was A good deal for me as I did not now how to transfer my data from my old computer to my new computer on my own. The customer service people were very helpful in showing me how to find the data that was transferred into my new computer.

I have used the Geek Squad services for many years and they always do an excellent job. I purchased a new Mac Pro and they set it up beautifully. They installed Microsoft Office and transferred all my information from my older Mac. I highly recommend their services.

The guys on the Geek Squad team did a great job transferring over my data from my old computer to my new one. The only thing I didn't like was that they told me it would take two days to complete when I bought it. After two days I called and they said two more days. It ended up taking one week to complete.

I encountered a glitch with the data transfer; which was corrected with a second visit. When I picked up my new computer,the agent showed me that the files had been transferred, but we neglected to open any. He asked if I wanted the old tower - I said "no" (it was ten years old). He then asked if I wanted the hard drive. I figured that sounded important , so I said "sure". When I got home and tried to open a document, I saw nothing but gibberish. The files were unreadable. Files from my brothers estate; files containing minutes of meetings - over 350 mailing labels (needed in the upcoming months). HAD I NOT KEPT THE HARD DRIVE, THE FILES THAT BECAME CORRUPT DURING THE TRANFER WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST FOREVER. My advise is this, ALWAYS INFORM THE CUSTOMER TO RETAIN THE HARD DRIVE (GIVE NO OPTION) OR...HAVE THE GEEK SQUAD FILE IT FOR 30 DAYS. Other than this glitch, I am extremely happy with the agents and the service.

We had another brand in the living room at the time our daughter gave us a Samsung for the bedroom. Picture clarity seemed so much better on it than on the other brand. When the other brand had to be replaced we opted to purchase another Samsung even though it was a little more money. We've been very pleased so far with this product.

I use computers for pleasure, writing, and tutoring searches. The Geek Squad determined that my hard drive was blown along with the motherboard (five years' of wear-and-tear). They worked on both computers, adapting them to my usage patterns. I know they 'go the extra mile' to please their customers.

My laptop would not come up. I decided to buy a new PC and have the data moved from the old nonstarting laptop to the new laptop. I was given a fixed price, which was reasonable and a deadline for when it would be completed. Everything went according to plan.

When the Geeks told me they would have to reinstall my operating system, I thought "There goes my data." I'm happy to say I was wrong. They managed to save nearly all my data. Well done!

I think it depends on the rep that is doing the transfer. The rep that did my transfer knew what he was doing and did a really good job. Several times before, when I had bought new machines, I lost a lot of data, but not this time. If I ever get another computer I hope I can find that same employee.

Instore Techs were amazing! They were able to set up our new MAC by copying the information from the Old MAC. We highly recommend the instore Techs!
