Geek Squad can be great for those that do not know much about the tech side of technology. It can be pricey, but so can the technology you are protecting as well. Would you rather break it, or the "expert" ? Can be a slow process, when busy, and I have discovered that Mac knowledge is limited.

Everything was transferred from the old laptop to the new one without issue. It was also much faster than anticipated.

This was the first time I ever used the Geek Squad. I was hit by Ransomware on my laptop. They were able to do a huge 233GB recovery and OS Reinstall. Not a single file was lost! These guys are the best! Thank you so much for rescuing me out of a very bad situation. Highly recommended!!!

Got a new computer and needed data from old computer transferred. Got everything transferred flawlessly and quickly for very little cost. Would definitely recommend to anyone buying a new computer who doesn't want the hassle of trying to transfer everything him/herself.

When my laptop died AT TAX TIME I was in a serious panic. You guys saved my butt. With the Data Backup I was able to retrieve my accounting info and my other files so that I could do my payroll and then I was also able to finish my taxes without additional stress.

The data transfer occurred without a clitch. However what I did not realize in the store was that none of the programs that the data uses were transferred to the new hard drive. I spent probably a full 10hour day today installing Windows 10, anti-virus software, cleaning software, MS Office and the HP printer software. Just be sure to ask for data and program transfer. I spoke French and the Geek squad was speaking Chinese. They did exactly what they said they would, transfer the data, but so what good is the data without the programs to run it! Just make sure you use their language instead of lay person's terminology!! Take nothing for granted. I thought I would come home, and get to work. Not so! I would recommend the service with caution to terminology.

dropped PC off without a wait. was told it would take 5 days. I got a call the very next day saying it was done.There was more on the PC then I had origianlly anticipated, they recovered everthing!! and then disposed of the computer as well for no extra charge, Thank you Geek squad

The Geek Squad did an excellent job in downloading all of the information off my old computer's hard drive as well as my additional memory book to my new computer. I was only out of action for about 36 hours while all of my information was transferred. I got my old hard drive back for security purposes.

The best . Excellent outcome and people were very knowledgeable and helpful. Have used the squad three times and highly recommend them.

The agents were able to capture all data from my damaged PC and install it on my new PC. They provided clear explanations of what could be recoverable and what could not be transferred. Very professional.

It took 2 attempts to get everything recovered and backup up correctly to new computer but that is a lot better than losing everything. It appears some of the issues were 'language' related, what I said was not what they understand and vice versa.

Great service, they originally told me 3-5 business days but followed up with a call that they have to manually transfer each file sucessfully. I was very thankful they were able to retrieve all from my corrupted hard drive

They were able to retrieve all the files that I needed on my old computer and get them transferred to my new computer. This was great as was afraid I'd lost everything that was on my old computer before it totally crashed! Great Job!

The ease of transfer of all our documents to new computer was wonderful. The agents explained everything to us in detail when we picked up the computers. They also gave suggestions for our old computer.

Data transfer from the old computer to the new was quickly and professionally. During a thunder storm recently the computer locked up when a bolt of lighting was close. The Geek Squad member Troy reset the machine and had it back up and going in a short time. The Squad team did a great job.

I purchased a new computer after mine totally died. I left the old one with the Geek Squad and the transfer was finished withing 48 hours. There were no problems and a technician explained everything to me when i came to the store to pick up the new computer. Effortless and a positive experience.

They did a great job transfering my stuff from one computor to the new one. I didn't like the Idea of having to make so many trips to town to have it done. we live 50 miles round trip. I had to make 3 trips which was 150 miles.
