The staff member was courteus and knowlegeable and offered several options for my issue. It was really easy to understand him.

Data transfer was pretty complete. There was very little dropout of files or data. I had to go searching for some, but wasn't too cumbersome.

We always receive great and knowledgeable service from the Geek Squad. We have multiple laptops covered under their service plan. The techs are great, friendly and it really has helped with setting appointments ahead of time. The techs explained everything very well.

Really appreciated all the help the geek squad gave getting my data and programs backed up and transferred from one computer to another when I had to replace my old one due to a busted up screen and screen frame causing the two computer halves to begin separating.

The My Passport Ultra is a great premium storage device. Western Digital builds really dependable devices and their prices are always competitive with other manufacturers. I had always heard that you should get one at least double the size of what you need for storage. The device is working great.

Bought a new computer and had the data transferred. Geek squad did a good job because the new computer did the things I needed it to do like the older computer. The difference was that the new computer did the processing a lot faster, the transition was seamless.

was leary to use the Geek Squad after reading many genitive reviews, but I am very happy with their service. So far I have found everything I had on my old computer, which was fried, and I had no way of even starting it up, let alone transferring anything from it. GREAT JOB GEEK SQUAD!!!

The GEEK Squad was able to back up my files and reset my computer when a virus infected my computer. There was an initial issue with loading Windows 10 when I first got it back but I was able to bring it back and they found the issue and load Windows 10 for me. Computer is working great!

These people finished it faster than promised and installed more programs than expected. Only complaint is that I pay a yearly Geek Squad fee, and since I bought the laptop at Best Buy, I think this service should be free as part of what I pay. But actual job was done really well.

Geek Squad made the transfer of data and programs to my new computer a breeze. What would have taken me a week or more to do this in my free time was completed and tested in a couple of days by Geek Squad.

I was concerned about getting all of my information transferred from my old computer to my new one, but everything went without a hitch. Everything was there. Had a few problems accessing some info, but that was a function of the computer and operating system, not the transfer. Great job by the Geek Squad.

My old PC was acting up, Geek Squad were able to get to the data, back it up, fix my PC by reinstalling windows, and transferred the data back. Great job. They did not save program data file; that's why the rating is 4 and not 5 stars.

Anyone who has transferred data from an old laptop to a new one knows how painstaking it can be. It is a necessary task, but not one most of us want to tackle, especially when you have a new laptop you want to enjoy. This service was very convenient for me because it saved a lot of time.

I downloaded windows 10 and because I have an old computer it was a little goosey with this new upgrade. I have a passport backup and I took that and the computer in to the geek squad and as always all is well. I have an updated backup and a smooth running computer. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've had Geek Squad transfer data from one laptop to another a couple of times. They did an outstanding job and in less time than they said it would take (a few days). They are always courteous and willing to help with my issues. Love Geed Squad!!
