The Geek Squad transferred data from my old computer to new one in a very timely manner. They were professional and prompt with the service they provided, and kept me informed during the data transfer process as to the progress being made. I was very satisfied with this service.

Was very disappointed in the amount of time it took to have my data backed up and transferred to my new computer. It was supposed to take 3 -4 days but wound up taking a full 7 days. I was hoping the photos and music files would have been placed in their respective folders in the new computer, but they are all just in a single "backup" folder. Maybe this is what they are supposed to do, but it seems a bit less useful. They also missed that i was supposed to get the Kaspersky antivirus for 3 yrs, not 6 months. Luckily I noticed and they were very good about fixing it once I pointed out the error. I recommend their data back up/ transfer if you aren't tech savvy and are unable to do it yourself.

When I bought my new laptop I was specific in telling the gentleman that my computer and external hard drive was very old. He insisted I needed the $199 total tech for two years especially because they had data transfer and warranty. I probably repeated myself again and said my old computer is from 2000, like when I say 2000 I mean literally 22 years ago. I had my appointment this past week and they were not able to do a data transfer, I am going to wait for some reader thing to help me but I feel inevitably that I’ve lost whatever is on my computer and external hard drive

Thankful for this service. The geek squad tech was able to transfer data and saved files from old computer to new computer quickly and easily. Not a techie person so this service was well worth the cost.

Good job on the transfer saved me lots of time. Pricey though.

So far I have been really pleased with geek squad. They helped me set up my home entertainment a few years ago and have worked miracles with my home computer. I am grateful their smart trained well individuals and every experience I have had has been worth the effort and the time.

My unit was set up to accatable time with software and data retrieved off old computer and old laptop reset to usable condition . Technician was pleasant and took all the time needed to get me u to seed and invited me to come back any time if any cuestiins or problems arise --- thanx WC57

Good for back up existing data so you may be able to install onto a as new device.

I didn't realize that I needed a flash drive to do the transfer. I have several at home that I could've brought with me. My photos and music were transferred without a problem.

The transfer of my data from one computer to another was perfect. All of my pictures and videos, that are so important to me, transferred beautifully. The staff was very helpful and got my information transferred before my scheduled pick up time. I am a very satisfied customer.

While I thought the fee a bit too pricey ($100), I couldn’t do it myself, so I went ahead and had it done. And sure enough, the job was done well, professionally. Since I had a lot of sensitive data to transfer, having the Geek Squad do it was a must.am glad I did.

The Geek Squad did an excellent job transferring all my data from an old to new All in One Dell computer. They did it twice because I purchased the wrong computer the first time. Each time, the transfer was completed days before it was projected to be done!

Service performed as requested on time. Waiting time to pick up was a bit long as there was only one person there. May be good to have a separate pick up area.
