The agents were very patient with me and very thorough. They did a good job making it easy for me to understand what was going on with my laptop.

On the advice from the Geek Squad to purchase this device. They transferred my data, which I thought was lost forever, I came home plugged it into my new Mac and am as happy as can be! Buy almost all of my electronics from you and am always happy with the advice and purchases.

I purchase the mac desktop and had all my data from my old computer transferred to my mac desktop. When I came to pickup my desktop Greek squad showed me how to use my New mac and changing my settings. They were customer friendly and very knowledgeable about their products.

The agents did a data transfer from my old computer to my new one and installed Office and an anti-virus for me. Everything was perfect and I didn’t have to spend hours getting the new computer set up. Very courteous and professional!

I always get the data back-up whenever I need to purchase a new computer or get an old one serviced. It is well-worth the money not to lose all my data. I can back up on an external hard drive and do, but I still want everything there when I pick up the computer

When I bought my new laptop I was specific in telling the gentleman that my computer and external hard drive was very old. He insisted I needed the $199 total tech for two years especially because they had data transfer and warranty. I probably repeated myself again and said my old computer is from 2000, like when I say 2000 I mean literally 22 years ago. I had my appointment this past week and they were not able to do a data transfer, I am going to wait for some reader thing to help me but I feel inevitably that I’ve lost whatever is on my computer and external hard drive

A few years back I had this done with a laptop that died (motherboard) and the transfer went well.Another time years later I had a damaged lap top and they told me it would be no problem to transfer and when I showed up they told me they couldn't do it and my only option was to spend $600.00 to transfer..I didn't do it and still have laptop..i'm sure if I brought it somewhere else they could do it for a reasonable rate..almost seemed like they didn't want to bother with it..unimpressed.

Made a new computer desktop tower purchase and the Geek Squad was able to quickly, easily transfer my data from the old tower to the new one with no hickups. The transfer was smooth and timely. Once again the Geek Squad came through for me and my machines.

My laptop inexplicably crashed leaving me unable to access all my most precious photos, along with research and teaching documents. (Yes, I know I should back these up BEFORE my computer crashes.) Appreciate the quick and easy service at Geek Squad to get my files back!

Justin was the Geek Squad member who helped me with data transfer. I am so thankful for his help. He was able to transfer my emails, etc. His help was invaluable to me. Some of the email storage folders were very crucial to me. Justin went the 'second mile' KUDOS to Justin!!!!

I was glad to have this done at Best Buy. I have a backup with Carbonite but wasn't sure I'd be able to do it successfully so I'm glad they have this service. I did have to go back as I was missing one item and they took care of that for me.

Geek Squad did a very nice job transferring our data and installing new programs. Most of our customization on our previous computer was also transferred with a few exceptions that we were able to fix. Afterwards, they gave us support until everything was just right.

The agent did a fantastic job helping transfer the data from the old phone to the new phone.

can't always find where the data was transferred to on the new computer, I think it is a little pricey for the amount of time and amount of data transferred. Maybe a sliding scale depending on the amount of data to be transferred

Bought a new MacBook and wanted all my files pictures and stuff transferred to new laptop and clean out old laptop to a factor restored state. All perfectly done in 24 hours including loading and setting up Office 365 and ITunes. Over joyed! Way to go if you are upgrading!

Techs worked hard to transfer all my photos and files from our laptop to the new all-in-one. Had to go back because we couldn't find where they all were stored, but they solved the problem quickly. Made the transition from the laptop to the all-in-one relatively painless!
