I had my laptop restored to its original state, lots of corrupt files. The Geek squad took a real interest in my situation. I was back and forth with them and they always kept me updated as to the progress of the work. They are very smart and I enjoyed working with them.

The Geek squad was great at explaining us all the options to back up our data and transfer to an external hard drive. They were very informative and kept it simple for those non-tech experts. They suggested great things and are very happy with their help.

HAVE A MICROWAVE AND TOASTER OVEN IN OUR KITCHEN BUT LONGED FOR THAT GOOD OLD FAITHFUL TOASTER WE ALWAYS HAD WHEN I WAS GROWING UP. WE FINALLY BROKE DOWN, WENT TO OUR FAVORITE STORE AND FOUND JUST THE RIGHT SIZE TOASTER. VERY HAPPY.

Four stars because the first time they didn't set up ongoing backup like they said they did, the first drive went bad after three weeks so had to go back and this time they did the data backup and set up ongoing backups like I requested and working great now.

I was starting to have some problems with my computer and Geek Squad pointed out that my hard drive was starting to fail, and that I needed to have all my data backed up. They did a great job and in a short time as well.

After the Mother Board crashed on my old computer, Geek Squad was able to download and save all of my info from that hard drive. Also they were able to tell this computer illiterate lady how to access the information and how to download to my new HP laptop.

Having the Geek Squad was super simple to have them do the set up. Take your chance with waiting in a line if you don't set up an appt. It can be like the DMV at some. Wait and wait. Other times, it's been fast. But they always do a great job for me.

My computer "died" at home one evening and I had not backed up my digital pictures in years. I was devastated. I took my computer to the Geek Squad and they were able to save my photos. Thanks Geek Squad!

My hard drive crashed on me and was able to get my computer in the same day for repairs. We couldn't pull anything from it which was sad but I'll live and my money was refunded for that portion. Overall great experience.

I needed a backup of my old laptop as it was dying and these guys did the job quickly and put my data on an external drive. I really appreciated them helping save my old photos and documents to put onto my new laptop.

Please learn from my misfortune. While I knew I should have better data back up, it wasn't a priority. You guessed it, the old drive died. So while I regret having to pay for the data recovery, at least data is getting backed up like it should.

When computer taken into Geek Squad wouldn't start, but I had some critical data on it which had not been backed up at the time. The Geek Squad was able to fix the problem & set up the Data Back up Device & save the data.

Since I am majorly computer illiterate, I sometimes need a great deal of help. Computer technology is an anathema for me. It is like having a father who knows everything and happily gets me out of my computer jams. For that I thank the Geeks.

The Technicians were very good. They were able to save my data off a crashing system and restore it to a new computer. They completed the transfer and other work with in 2 days. I am very happy with the final outcome.
