Computer crashed, all Data lost. Thanks great job!

Disappointed could not recover data. Asked for 1450$ Up front to attempt more in depth recovery.

Agents kept me current on what was happening and were quick to respond to queries.

Great experience with the Geek Squad data recovery team-again! Highly recommended! They recovered 98% of the data from my son's broken usb 750GB hdd! Geek squad shipped my device for repair and kept my laptop for a month before I receive a spammy looking email asking me to pay. Then I received a call asking me to purchase a flash drive to put my data on. Are you kidding me? I have all the warranties and Total Tech. I have plenty of flash drives at home that I could have provided to the agent if I knew about this junk. I was not updated about the progress of my repair. I had to keep reaching out and they couldn't find my service order or the status of my repair. This service is the worst.

Had good expectations of the Total Tech Support which I purchased to cover me for the intitiation fee and level 1 Data Recovery. The files to be recovered were on the SSD not the HDD. Before my computer was junked out they decided to pull the HDD instead of the SSD which is were everything is primarily stored when you use a computer with 2 drives. I escalated this about 3 to 4 times within 2 months. I dealt with the recovery center in TN I believe. I ended up getting an e-mail that my ticket was closed and I had no idea what was going on. I had not received a call from the Data Recovery center for 2 weeks. I call them and they apologize and said that nothing could be done. It was a mistake on their end. I needed some files on the SSD and now completely lost. Terrible service. If you do go with the data recovery service repetitively remind them where your files are stored and in what drive. Terrible experience

I love the Geek Squad agents! They are helpful and efficient to clean up my computers and get the bugs out. They always know the answers and are friendly to answer questions and give advice with or without appointments.

They took a broken computer and made a valiant attempt at retrieving my data from it. Unfortunately it was lost. They did explain all my options and costs up front so I knew it might be lost for good. I’m glad they knew what they were doing and tried anyway.

Overall, was super thankful for them trying to fix my hard drive, but to find out that they ending up breaking my other hard drive I was using for recovery. After, seeing my back up hard drive had a huge dent in it when I got it back from them. Not worth the time or money..

Not only didn't the geek squad recover my data, they didn't even tell me on the phone when I was told to return to pick up my equipment. The computer had to go to the next level to recover my data, which costs a fortune. The second level recovery was able to recover virtually all of my files.

After my Windows 10 OS crashed, the Geek Squad tech support was able to recover all my files on the harddrive.

They tried. Oh they tried. But my data has died, Alas. Alas.
