Did good job , all team member were very knowledgale

Price provided ($700) to recover data on hard drive way too high and unreasonable. I can buy a new hard drive with data pre-loaded on it for half the price provided to recover the data.

They tried. Oh they tried. But my data has died, Alas. Alas.

They were having trouble retrieving the information

Information was collected successfully before the crash of my old laptop. It just wasn’t converted to the collect format to be able to transfer to my new one.

They were fast in getting computer back to me after repaired

Big cost for small amount of work accomplished. They did not do a good job of explaining what I should expect. As far as I am concerned, I did not get a good product for my money.

I have no quarrel with how things were explained EXCEPT no one explained that they are not able to test AOL email after recovery. In other words, while they can recover, they cannot test to see what shape the recovered AOL material is in. This is disappointing and was not explained to me at the beginning fo the process but rather at the end,

11/2 - Ready to proceed with the current data recovery project as outlined in the 11/1 and 11/2 email. Just added credit card to Best Buy Account.

Unfortunately, my external hard drive was too damaged to recover data. But, Best Buy is Excellent and very helpful and courteous! Thank You for Trying. It was not a Best Buy Product, so, that explains everything! I onlu BUY at BEST BUY to avoid Problems like this!!!

Excellent service and skill. Each representative knew their subject and how to pinpoint and resolve problems the first time around. No confusion or disorganization. Expertly delivered at each encounter.

we had lost a lot of photos we had taken on many trips over two thousand. We recovered a couple a hundred photos on our own. I brought in my newly purchased stand alone Dell computer to your geek squad counter and your geek squad recovered close to two thousand the wife was happy.

the geek squad needs to improve on their knowledge of what their trying to sell. They need to be aware of their work so customer doesnt have to bring it back to be redone.

I'm an older citizen, and the information I received about external hard drives was exceptional.

Oh God. $740 involved with our plead for help in obtaining the pictures off a three year old HP Touchsmart that just completely died and ended with a black screen. Stage three, is my last update to retract the photos ... well, that was two months, one week and four days ago. I hope for a call with good luck and not of one requiring more money to send elsewhere for a fourth stage. Oh! Did I mention I’ve got eleven calls to go to the store for pick up as it was ready? Yeah ... eleven trips to Best Buy to walk out with almost everything EXCEPT my computer (which was found over and over to not even be in FL). I should’ve probably waited to complain, but how could I resist this opportunity to review the Geek Squad?!

Unfortunately the geek squad was unable to recover the data on my hard drive that had been dropped from the table, but they explained everything in great detail before, during and after as to why that might have happened. It was a good process.
