    Don't listen to the critics

I was down on Days Gone before its release. It was announced a long time ago, received multiple delays, and the developers always demoed the same area with the horde, leading me to believe that the rest of the game was a mess. Since the horde thing didn't blow my mind, its only gimmick didn't win me over. Since I had pre-ordered it a long time ago when I received a special offer, I decided to keep my pre-order. I'm glad that I did. This is a massive, beautiful game. It's essentially an open world version of The Last of Us. You sneak around, rummage though buildings to find items to craft weapons such as molotov cocktails, etc. It's much more of a stealth game than an action game. While you can play it as an action game, it's far more rewarding sneaking your way through. Also, the game has some outstanding cutscenes & voice acting that'll keep you interested throughout the 30 hours the game lasts. Needless to say, I recommend Days Gone.

It has a pretty in depth story line. The game mechanics are somewhat simple. At points you find yourself getting frustrated that you have to grind in order to gain trust but the game is smooth enough that you dont have to worry as much as you think. Worth a rent before you buy it if possible.

Bought this game because they patched in motion aiming and removed all the early bugs and I heard the gameplay and story was excellent. No regrets. Awesome game. No regrets (even though I ended up with a free copy via PS5's PS+ offer).

This game has gotten a lot of hate from review sites and I just don't understand why, I have played it pretty regularly for several weeks now and find it to be a very enjoyable game. There were a few bugs early on but everything has been patched and should be good to go.

I bought it for my brother for x-mas and he seems to enjoy it. I watched him play for a bit and appears to be a well made game. I think any fan of open world and zombies(?) would enjoy this and it's usually at a nice price too.

This game has received some negative reviews. It's not original, borrows from many other games but I think it's a lot of fun and it has great graphics. Great open world, always zombies and bad people to look out for all the time gives the game a great tense atmosphere.

I haven’t finished it yet but I am a good 25-30 hours into this game. If you like survival games and open world games then give this one a shot. Solid story, good graphics, lots of missions to do and I payed less then $20 new for it. Highly recommended

Although I'm only a few hours into the game, I think the lukewarm critical reception was unmerited. Days Gone is graphically beautiful, and the large open world offers up many things to do from (obviously) shooting zombies to customizing and trailriding on your chopper. Very entertaining.

Days Gone is an awesome Post apocalyptic third person open world action adventure game. Although at launch there were some speed bumps, Bend Studio stuck to their guns and I had a perfect experience without any technical issues. Don’t listen to the critics and give this game a shot. I am not a huge open world fan, but PlayStation Studios have been the ones to pull me in with great narratives and a straight up fun game and Days Gone is no exception roping me in to get the Platinum trophy. The crafting and character upgrades are fun, there’s a great variety of weapons, upgrading your bike is fun and exploring the world never gets old. The variety of enemies is good and it never gets old using the Freakers to take out the enemy camps. In short, I recommend this game to anyone who has interest in narrative and fun gameplay.

Bought the game twice for me and a friend. The game is amazing, story is really good, gameplay is fun especially riding and upgrading your bike, and the hordes are so intense and gets the blood flowing. Definitely a must buy if you have a PS4.

I was on the fence on this game, and decided to grab it during black friday sales. HOLY WOW this game is great! Easy to pickup, easy to follow story, horde's are INTENSE. And this game keeps you on your toes. Probbaly one of my favorite games of 2019.

This game is awesome. It does have its bugs here or there but now days what game doesn’t and is released prematurely. I had a good time exploring the map and find hidden bunkers and collectibles without feeling repetitive. The hordes are on another level. I got the platinum trophy!

I love this game but they’re some glitches in the game that do set it back a bit. The game starts a bit slow but Iran well worth the money with all the gameplay you get out of it! I personally love the game now but it does have its flaws. If that doesn’t both you by all means buy it !

This is one of the best of 2019!! Fantastic action, motorcycle building, and storyline about the best I’ve seen. Puts most other shooter games to shame...(ps: strategy/patience is key to tough spots - don’t HAVE to take on ‘hoards’ to complete any missions).

This a great post-apocalyptic title, like Sony's Last of Us, where survivors battle zombies, crazed civilians and sinister military bio-engineers after some type of plague. In a familiar scoring method, you run missions out in the wilds of Oregon on your motorcycle to earn dollars and reputation in order slowly build up weapons and additional skills. Great graphics, storyline and voice acting, and the game has very engaging character development. After the beating the complete storyline, players can move into weekly challenges, which include mini-contests against zombies, trick riding on your motorcycle, etc, where you can score bronze, silver, and gold rankings. The scores are globally ranked so you are competing against all online players. Its been very entertaining and new challenges contine to release every Friday so there is continual fresh content.

This game has been really fun for its open world and characters. The zombies are fun to fight when they're in big hordes and all the motorcycle aspects are really unique and cool. It's not the game of the year but it's still a pretty awesome game.

Really fun game. Feels like a mash up of the Last of Us (zombie/ stealth/ shooter), Mad Max (motorcycle travel/fighting), Dead Rising (fighting hordes with improvised melee weapons), and Assassins Creed (open world mission structure). There's a lot to see and do.
