I’ve been looking forward to thus game since it was announced many years ago. Looking at some of the gameplay footage released over the years did have me a little cautious but that quickly went away now that I’m playing. It’s truly a fun and intense game. Professional reviewers are hating on it but what game don’t they hate on honestly? The hoards are by far the most intense part of the game and its done flawlessly. A few glitches here and there but nothing I haven’t seen in other games. So worth picking up if you’re still on the fence!!

I had preordered this game about a month before release and was highly anticipating the game coming out. Then the critic reviews were published the day before release and the low scores had me second guessing the game. Picked up the game on release day and I must say I thoroughly enjoy it. Yes, it had some bugs here and there, but that's to be expected with games released nowadays; (many of the bugs were patched). Everyone assumes devs tend to rush games, though this game has been in development for quite a while. The gameplay is fun and provides a survival element I haven't felt in a PS4 title for a long time. The games obviously not for everyone, but if you're into zombies and open world games I would highly recommend it. For me, it's an 8.5 to 9/10.

I was never excited for this game heck I was not going to buy it but decided to give it a chance and I'm glad I did. The ideas that went into this game are interesting enough to get me excited for a possible sequel. The best part of the game are the Freakers specifically the horde they are challenging and fun. Having said that I have to mention the issues I had with the game. The bike is fun but unfortunately it is just a gimmick that serves no other purpose, the story is unnecessarily too long and poorly executed, the characters are forgettable except for one, and the gameplay is average. I personally only had minor bugs compared to others not sure if it was because I played it on PS4 Pro. I recommend this game but be warned that you might be disappointed thinking this is on par with The Last of Us.

First off, please understand this is a game from a SMALL developer team (bend studios) out here in bend, Or. There are a few quarks with the game as some of the dialogue is messed up a bit, some cut scenes are as well. Keep in mind it’s a survival game and repair your vehicle before missions and as soon as possible when you get the chance. Refueling is key!!! Upgrading the bike as well, suppressed weapons help, shotguns for mass rushes of zombies. Don’t drive into rocks and gates or off cliffs and expect to live. Mainly use common sense. Loot when you can, reload before getting NEW ammo, not after (doesn’t maximize the anmo count). Hope this helps folks. It’s a great game in my opinion.

A unique, yet sometimes generic open-world game. The game contains some glitches, slightly wonky controls, and is unbelievably long. It feels like multiple stories wrapped in a single package. However, with everything trying to kill you, I experienced numerous exhilarating random moments. My favorite was the marauders playing dead, only to ambush you as you walk by. Exploring and looting each location is a thrill in and of itself. The graphics make it easy to bask in the look of each town. And yes, the Hordes are worth the hype!

One of the best games in 2019. This game is a 10. Direction guides you well so that you don't get lost or not know what to do. A feature most games lack. The interesting and engaging story keeps you invested as well as the way the story is directed so that the story unfolds in a smart and interesting way. Excellent use of PS4's capabilities to generate tons of zombies in unbelievable numbers in hoards add elements, unlike any other game. There is no multiplayer, but this is a feature and not a flaw.

First and foremost, DO NOT listen to the critic reviews. I have been looking forward to this game since it was announced, then the day before the game came out the critic reviews were released and I was pretty bummed. They gave this game a 5/10. Honestly, I don’t get it. This game is full of stories, scenery, zombies and tons of creepy ambiance. The sneak mechanics and the method of approach you have to apply to almost any situation is amazing. Sure, you can go in guns blazing...but hordes will change that method of play really quick! For a small developer, I’m impressed. I’ve encountered very few bugs. There have been a few framerate drops, but I’m pretty sure that’s just my ole PS4 showing it’s age. While this game may not be for everyone, it’s definitely not a 5/10. I’d give it a solid 8/10.

I can't say enough good words for this masterpiece, it's almost more than just a game and in a way transcends the boundaries of what I thought possible for a game, no character is two dimensional and so I feel like I've grown a bond with everyone Deacon has and so every death hurts like it would in real life since these are more than just AI and Npcs but people, no one is there to say a cool line or deliver exposition, they are fleshed out and relatable more than even RDR2 which I thought had the most impactful characters and story before I played this.

Not gonna lie, it starts off pretty slow but after that it becomes very fun and addicting. The story is very good as well. And it just got an graphics upgrade so it looks even better than before. Dynamic 4K 60. This is a must play. Hopefully Sony green lights a sequel one day.

This game is freaking awesome!! The story is awesome and the zombies are insane! The hoards they have literally give me anxiety sometimes and I’m all for it!

I played this on PC and was pleasantly surprised. While not the best Zombie game, it definitely has features that adds quite a bit to the genre. Something to keep in mind however, is if you don’t mind heart pumping anxiety in trying to decimate a Horde of zombies, all while having limited ammo, then this game is NOT for you. But if you love to strategize to minimize those altercations, then go for it!!!

Everything about this game is awesome!! The guns, the motorcycle, the moves. I really hope they make another one, because i cant put it down. Its become one of my favorites. And there has already been improvements!! Great job Sony.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend for his birthday. Two and a half weeks later and he still plays it everyday. It is a good game with lots of missions and free play. There is still plenty of game left for him to play too as it says he is only 13% through the game. I don't mind watching it either.

Days Gone is an intense experience where as they say in the tagline, the world it out to get you. There's danger seemingly around every corner. The result it that you almost always have a feeling of being on edge, waiting for your next fight or flight situation. This makes the game an absolute blast to play. Different enemies present different challenges and require different strategies to beat. Exploring the gorgeous world of central Oregon is really great too. It's a beefy game as well, and took me about 35 hours just for the main story but I loved it so much that I made sure to do all of the great side content as well. I love this game.

Pros: Fun driving the bike and customizing it. Lots of weapons. Nice graphics. Cons: Horrible graphics on bears and wolves, they look like stuffed animals. Lots of glitches that include frame drops, laggy animations, and slow gameplay. Bad graphics on anyone besides the main characters. I give it a 3.5/5 because I still have fun regardless of the major flaws. Hopefully they come up with a sequel to redeem themselves and make it to its potential. The graphics are good in scenery but are flawed everywhere else! The voice acting is okay but I can easily skip the cut scenes cause they don’t draw you in and pull your attention .

First off, I'd like to say that this game is really fun and suspenseful! Imagine dead island, dying light, and the last of us all mashed up into one game. By no Means is it a RDR2 Rockstar game, but it is good. There is easy, normal and hard modes. The normal is quite challenging. The picture is beautiful and the story is really awesome. Definitely give it a chance. This game makes you think and does not do the auto aiming for you. It makes you use your strategy to survive, as a good game should!!!

Great game to play if you are a horror game fan. Resident evil/silent hill fans will fall in love like I did.

I definitely don’t agree with most of the reviews I have read for this game. I think on a scale of 1-10 it is a solid 8. I know that would mean 4 stars and I gave it 5, I did this because I feel others should give it a chance. I think most critics are accustomed to every PlayStation exclusive being a game of the year candidate and this one isn’t. However, that doesn’t mean it isn’t a very solid and fun game. Much, much better than most reviews.

Yes this game I have not played it but it seems very nice game we compared the of just these 2 gta and RDR 2 there almost the same but this game has more then one thing I think this game beats RDR 2 and GTA 5 now FC 5 that different story but there the same on difference thing it has but yes for sure it one of the best game you can play and what i know is that this was made to have fun on playing and yes I think this game was made for that

I enjoyed this game, it got my adrenaline pumping quite a lot. Would love to see a Days Gone 2 to continue the story.
