Extremely fun and entertaining. The story is decent but the game shines in the gameplay. Plenty of content to keep you entertained for lots of hours. Fantastic game especially for the price.

I'm having a lot of fun with this game. It was a little buggy at first but the updates fixed that. I love the way Deacon talks to himself a lot, it's different than most games in that you get a real sense of what the character is going through.

glitches more than other games I have but If you like survival games this is great! It's like walking dead and you never know what your going to find or whats going to pop out. The graphics are pretty great in my opinion.

Very cool expansive play with a few twists on the post apocalyptic genre. Smash that together with tomb raider and walking dead (obvious parallels). Intense cut scenes and a good story overall. Highly recommended!!!!

Pretty good game, the graphics are great and the story is interesting. You actually feel like your a survivor in the apocalypse. Just wish I didnt have to constantly refuel my motorcycles gas aside from that solid game.

Initially this game was not well reviewed and trashed by many gamers. Not sure why. You have to learn the mechanics of it and then it grows on you. It is a long game though, good plot, great graphics, good story.

This game takes place in my home state of OR and has a cool and different take on a mass infection or zombie type apocalypse. The controls took some time to get used to but once you get it down the game is fun to play.

Outstanding gameplay that keeps you on the edge of terror and victory. Great story and characters and a non-traditional hero.

I have to admit I haven't played very much of this. However, what I have seen I've liked, so there is that. The control is almost identical to Horizon Zero Dawn, including the use of R3, and so it was easy for me to pick up and play. It doesn't give me motion sickness either like HZD did. The voice acting so far is also pretty good. There is a lot of strong language in this game, so it's fine for adults, but don't play it when the little ones are around. It's pretty gory, too. It looks good, it plays well, and if you like Syphon Filter, you'll love the Easter eggs in here, too.

Great game! I would say it's up there with the last of us story line wise. But last of us will always be #1 but I am enjoying the game. Little bugs here and there but they should have them ironed out with a update soon.

I'll say first that I am slightly biased in that I had been waiting years for this game to release. I hadn't been a huge fan of the hyper aggressive zombie style games that had been release in the mid-2010s, and was ready for a more story driven experience similar to The Walking Dead. Besides that point however, the game really is something special. Yes, there are bugs that popped up, nothing game-breaking, but slightly annoying. Yes the mission structure is rigid and repetitive, but the solid shooting, driving, and exploration mechanics make it a special, must-play for those with a PS4. Note, I played on PS4 pro and had very good performance, mid-40FPS, sometimes higher in less demanding scenes.

This is the best PS4 game. There is so much to do in this game. Open world and maps. Graphics on PS5 is simply amazing. I would play it again and again.

I loved this game. I'm not sure why the critics were so harsh on it. Yes the bike controls aren't as good starting out. That's why you upgrade your ride. The jobs can tend to be the same after awhile but I loved taking out the enemies in stealth mode Daryl Dixon style with a crossbow. The story is good. Voice acting is strong. Taking on hordes is a rush. Freakers - what they call zombies in this game - are fast, strong, and can climb walls. They reminded me of the zombies in WW Z. Now that the price has dropped pick this up. It's a must have PS4 exclusive.

A Few hours in and I'm all in. The graphic are amazing, and controls well, except for the bike. If you like killing zombies, this is your game and Deacon is your guy. Really cant stress enough how good the control is.

Some of the missions can be repetitive but the game is fun, gorgeous and I want to keep playing to find out what happened. That means a lot to me in a narrative based...semi open-world game. I thinks it's another great PS4 exclusive.

This is an awesome open world zombie type game. There are multiple story lines active throughout the gameplay and you can approach the game stealth or go in blazing. It’s more than just another zombie game.

Cool open world zombie game. The graphics and scenery are great, the combat is fun and riding the motorcycle around everywhere is awesome. Great sounds and production value. Would recommend for some brainless fun.

The game is a ton of fun and has a pretty good story going for it. I love the action and the exploration. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE LOW REVIEW SCORES! This game is an 8-8.5 and some of the reviews have done a disservice to the developers!

Bored to death, so I was looking for an open world game. I only play GTA and RDR, so this game was a roll of the dice. Highly recommend buying this game if you enjoy open world shooters.

Days Gone is a new Zombie game that has really seen no competition since its release and the game definitely does justice for the lack of diversity in its genre. Dying Light and Resident Evil are amazing games but are quite scary in comparison. Dead Island, Dead Nation, Dead Rising, and The Evil Within have all been finished and those franchises will probably never see any sequels or successors. And there are only a few upcoming releases like RE Village and Dying Light 2 which will compete however they are quite a while bit away in terms of release dates. This game definitely fills the gap for a niche group of people who still love this genre
