Gets a bit redundant at times but I think the story was well thought out. Engaging mass groups of zoms was rather novel and the mechanics were fun. Because the only real difference between each mass zom encounter was numbers it started to get stale. I finished every part of the game except the hordes as that just got tedious. Still loved it and would definitely play a sequel.

I am really enjoying this game. It's an open-world post-zombie-apocalypse game set in Oregon, starring a biker and his close circle. Great story, fun gameplay, excellent graphics/scenery. The tasks can get a little repetitive, but overall I think this game is very, very good.

Been playing this since release weekend and it is a great game so far (8hrs in). Don't listen to most review outlets out there, if you're interested, buy it and try it out yourself. I've run into a few glitches, but nothing game breaking. Exploration, riding your bike, leveling up and combat are fun. Beware of freaker hordes, when in doubt run!

Get ready for a wild ride, folks. Set forth on the greatest open world zombie experience to date (until they release a sequel) and blow you’re mind with massive, all out hoards of zombies just waiting to literally eat your heart out. The makers of this game, SIE Bend studios, just get it. What a knock out ride to the fullest.

Don't miss this game because of the negative reviews in the media. This is an enjoyable experience that any fan of zombies or the genre should not miss. It is a very good game with a great story and lots of content. Also has amazing graphics with one of the best weather effects I've seen in a long time. Also has a enjoyable Platinum to obtain for trophy hunters.

The game was very enjoyable throughout. You can choose how you go about killing zombies and/or humans. I was never bored as I was playing the game interestingly, the story was very nice. The cutscenes are a must. Pre-planning for a horde is an exciting experience, it gets your adrenaline pumping everytime.

Followed this games development for a few years and finally decided to pick it up on cyber monday. The game could be trimmed down a bit to make it more enjoyable, but on the bright side I have dozens of hours of gameplay to keep me busy over the winter. The bike handles great once you get it upgraded, and the story takes some interesting turns.

While this game got knocked for being a bit repetitive and some technical glitches it is still one of the best games I played in 2019. If you haven't played it yet due to the negative review I do recommend checking it out for yourself!

The only reason this game doesn't get 5 stars is because it does start slow. It took me about 50 - 60 hours to beat but the first 8 - 10 hours was slow. The combat, gunplay and motorcycle felt clunky at first but this is one of the few games where leveling up your weapons and character has a significant, tangible difference. Once you get past the first slow point the game is great. The gunplay, combat and motorcycle improves significantly when upgraded after the first 8 hours and after that point in my opinion it is a top tier game. It doesn't do anything new necessarily except for the hordes, which are phenomenal. You don't realize how many zombies there are until you're up close with a decent sized horde. The only downside to the game is the technical issues that happen here and there but nothing game breaking. The foundation for an all time great game has been set with this game. If the sequel improves the flaws of this game we will have another S their playstation exclusive to join the likes of god of war, uncharted 4, horizon, spiderman and bloodborne.

Good game. Has a good story and fun gameplay. Beware, it is buggy.

Any game release is a miracle. Think about the number of people involved, the technology that had to be created, the code written from scratch. Hours of recording sessions, both for motion capture and voice acting. That this exists at all is amazing. That it is such a fun game is a wonder. Like any open world, Days Gone suffers from bugs and glitches. The devs are actively fixing them with free patches, so don't let that hold you back. I'll start with my only major gripe: In a world where I've played Red Dead Redemption 2, this open world feels rather sparse. The environmental storytelling is few and far between, there are maybe five animal types (as opposed to literally hundreds in RDR2), and it can feel pretty lonely out there. That said, the first time you stumble into a horde, none of that matters. Suddenly, a hundred zombies sprint at you, screaming and clawing, and you know true fear. This game is no perfect, as no game ever is, but it elicited a genuine sense of fear from me multiple times. It's worth the price of entry just to be a part of this crazy experience. And Sam Witwer delivers a solid performance.

Days Gone is a game that didn't get the credit it deserves and after all the updates and added modes, is a great apocalyptic game. This is a game where you have to survive against humans but also the infected. The thing that sets this game apart from so many others in the same genre is that it truly feels like the end times. Its an open world that actually makes sense and as you travel, you get to explore what the world has gone through after the infected destroyed everything. Another thing that sets this game apart is that "freakers", as they are called, can be found in small numbers or literally hundreds at one time. When you encounter a massive horde, you have to strategically plan how you'll eliminate them should you decide to fight. When you face your first horde, it feels overwhelming because they just keep coming but it gives it that sense of realism. If you like what you've read so far, then I suggest you try it out then as I'm glad I did instead. You won't be disappointed.

This game exceeds my expectations so far! The story is engaging and the gameplay makes it truly feel like i am fighting for my life in the apocalypse. I was skeptical, but after having this for literally a day, I can tell that this game is going to be one of my tops. It’s a good game to hold me off until The Last of Us Part II comes out haha.

Great game from start to finish. This game has a lot of exploration and lots of dreamers to kill. A must have if you don’t have it go get it!!!

This game is pretty good however it’s not up there with the likes of God of War it’s still a very good game. Patches have come out almost every day since launch and took care of a bunch of bugs. I would absolutely recommend this game especially at $40 if you are unsure.

The amount of traveling reminds me of Far Cry. Overall this is a great game. Fantastic graphics, plenty of supplies for an open world game, great story line, and characters. Love the weather system and environment! If you enjoy open world games and zombie like creatures you will love this game.

Great graphics, touchy contols, great story, scary enemies

One of the best Zombie games Ive played in a long time. Its an open world map with plenty to do. The graphics on this game are absolutely stunning and the story line is fantastic. This game exceeded all of my expectations.

Don't believe the critics!!! I can't stress enough how wrong they got their reviews. This is the best game I've played this year and might be my favorite game of all time. It takes a minute to get going. But the story is fantastic and is worth every penny spent and every minute playing it.
