How a game should be released. No bugs glitches or big updates at launch. Fun and good story

I picked this up because my friend let me know it was on sale. It plays like the first Dead Island game. So if you liked that one you will like this one. If you thought that the first one had terrible dialogue, repetitive missions, and was too much of a grind then you better find a friend to play this game with because that's in this game too. The zombie diversity and smashing mechanics are pretty awesome. It's a good mindless co-op game while catching up with a friend.

All in all a fun run through Hell A. Story is good, the action is good, and it has a lot of the elements of the first game. Down Side No driving which is a bit disappointing and in some regards the game feels a bit dated which makes sense since it was in development limbo for a decade. If you liked the first one this one isn't a bad romp through memory lane.

Extremely fun and entertaining. Levels are be very hard and wish if you were killing a ‘boss’ and hurt them more than half way and died it would save your progress so you don’t have to start all over. Some weapons aren’t easy to find. Overall way better than the first. Currently stuck on the creepy pier clown

This is a fun game with an interesting story. Fun sidequests. Always entertaining killing zombies

I have advanced quite a bit and it is definitely a great zombie game. Some parts I had to look up what to do and I'm stuck in a point where I have to kill a bunch of zombies fast so I need to skill up and pass it. The plot is sound and the things to do and check out are cool. Love it so far! I wish there were more powerful weapons at the beginning but super recommendable

Excellent ! Story is well thought out. Play controls are great. Graphics are excellent. Worth the $20 for hours of play.

I want to say first that I went into this game wanting a fun zombie game, that's it really. I didn't have any expectations besides I wanted a zombie game where it's fun to kill zombies and make stupid fun weapons, and I got what I wanted. The weapons, zombies, the gore system, and how they all interact and react to each other makes the game. Top notch zombie gore. The story, characters, and acting are not the best, but it works for a stupid fun game that knows it's a little stupid and fun. In a nutshell, the story...is there, it works well enough but the weapons and the zombie killing is what this game is all about. If you like killing zombies, pick this game up once it's on sale. $70 is too much for this game but once it hits $50 or less, worth it.

So much fun, and amazing graphics. The story is actually interesting. It is a very fun game, follow the story or just walk wherever and eliminate zombies. Fun Fun Fun

I completed the game in about 16 hours and enjoyed it. Not open world but open zoned. Loved the gore and combat.

This game is BONKERS! The gameplay, graphics, the story. I never finished the first one but Dead Island 2 was amazing. Definitely will play the DLCS!

Great game , better than I expected it to be . Very hard to play though

It's fine at the beginning, but it gets very repetitive very fast. There's nothing special about the bosses tho, the only difference is that they have specific names. A game to shut down your brain for a few hours. Killing zombies is very relaxing for some reason.

I played Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide probably 3 or 4 times and loved them, so naturally I purchased Dead Island 2 as soon as I got paid. The game is tons of fun. Lots of different weapons and modifications to slash up some zombies. I’ve only played one character so far, Dani. I adore her, and her diaglogue options. I’ve also started watching a playthrough with Carla’s character, and she seems pretty awesome too. The storyline is also interesting, albeit a bit predictable at times. If you’re looking for fun and to hack some zombies, this is the game for you.

Solid game- nothing crazy new but good fun for 10-15 hours of smashing zombies with some solid gore
