Not as fun as the original game back on the Xbox 360, but at least includes the extra dlc in one package.

I found the game to be very repetitive. If you like doing the same thing over and over then check this out at a lower price. At best this is a rental

Good Game But Has A Save Glitch

While I haven't played Dead Rising 3 yet, I would have to say this is my least favorite game in the series. The story isn't very interesting and I didn't care much for any of the characters. Boss fights are very disappointing compared to the previous games. There are no longer special cut-scenes for them which used to provide personality and really just show how crazy and/or demented they were. Also, the zombies are super cheap in this game. They all will constantly be grabbing you out of nowhere. It gets worse as the game progresses and more agile zombies are introduced. Yes, I know zombies are supposed to grab but this gets so annoying and their grabs cancel out almost anything you're doing at that moment (unless you hit the displayed button instantly then mash the next). The time limits are missing which is both good and bad in my opinion. On one hand, the time limits gave a sense of urgency to the game making you spend your time more wisely. On the other, not having the time limits gives you freedom to mess around and enjoy yourself. It would have been nice to have the option of both but it's not that much of an issue. The weapon system is greatly improved and now split up into categories: thrown, melee, and ranged. The combo weapons & combo vehicles are creative and fun to use. The biggest problem with this game is the amount of glitches and bugs it has. Most of them are minor such as sound issues (missing sound effects, sometimes very low dialogue) or clipping (enemies being stuck in solid objects). There were also a couple instances where my character would be frozen in place and unable to move. Another where I was hit through the ground and fell completely through the map. However, all of these are nothing compared to the save glitch this game has. After completing the main game, I beat the Frank Rising dlc. Next, I started to play Capcom Heroes. I got pretty far and quit as normal. Well, when I went to load my save the next day, the application crashed. Tried reloading many times, same results. Tried loading earlier cases, same results. Well, I figured it was only bad luck and ended up having to start a new game. Atleast they let you keep your collectables and unlocked suits. With this new playthrough, I get almost to the end of the game in one day and quit. Next day when trying to reload it, the application crashes again... and again. Had to restart a third time to finally complete it! So frustrating. Unless you manually use separate save slots for each mode, the save file for this game is very problematic and will contain the data for the main story as well as all the extra modes. I looked around online and found others having the same problems with Capcom Heroes, Frank Rising, or even the main story save. As far as the dlc goes, my favorite was Frank Rising. I didn't like it at first but once you get used to your new move set, it becomes quite fun. My second favorite is Capcom Heroes but that's not saying much as it's just the main story again with being able to use other Capcom characters abilities. One very annoying part of this mode is having to repeatedly go to the Capcom arcade cabinets to keep your abilities active as they run out in only 5 minutes. Instead, they should have only made you go to these when wanting to change characters. Mini golf was my least favorite. It was ok at best and just not very fun. Last but not least, multiplayer. I'm not sure what they were thinking with this. It's not fun and feels like they made it just to say the game has multiplayer. I can't imagine anyone wanting to play this mode long term. You do the same stuff over and over again and weapons break so fast. I got my character to about level 50 in a few days then stopped. You don't get to create a character or play as Frank West. You get to choose from four characters from the main game (which I mentioned earlier didn't care for). Overall, Dead Rising 4 is a good game but is the weakest in the series, atleast for me. The bugs and glitches further decrease the enjoyment you get from the game but it's still worth playing, especially if you're a Dead Rising fan.
