Got this as a gift and it quickly was purchased by my two kids so the three of us can do the co-op missions. Very fun to unleash mayhem on some very interesting zombies. Somewhat open world and the variety of weapons can be devastating and comical at times.

Game is fun, no timers but you can clear encampments out to get vendors for weapons, food, clothing etc. Game is more akin to DR3 than the earlier games in some aspects. I would recommend buying with GCU or wait for a sale. Game at this point has not been hard. A little glitchy also but it's fun trying combo weapons out on a massive hoard of Zombies. Combining vehicles is also a fun thing to unleash on Zombie hoards. Investigations are added on with the new camera Frank uses these days it's alright. 6 cases to solve in the main game no idea what DLC will be added on! If those things appeal to you then play it have fun if not wait for a sale or pass.

This game is by far the best one of its kind! The holiday theme in the city is very interesting. With snow and Christmas decor throughout the city. The graphics is top notch. Nice atmospheres, textures and environments. Weapon combinations is improved. Zombies are faster paced & in large groups with improved a.i. Gore is on overload. Best improvement is no time limit. Which was really the only thing that hurted its previous installments. Sometimes zombies can come through safe zones. So have a escape route. Come familiar with high places to spare you of dying. Otherwise, this game can be fun. Too hard for kids.

The game is very fun. Slaying zombies is always fun. Making combo weapons is great. The exo suit is OP. The AI is pretty dumb. The vehicles don't control very well. The worst of all is that the game is VERY ugly. Like they had this game since the 360 days and just allowed it to play on the Xbox one. I've seen 360 games that look better as a matter of fact. But the game is fun. If you can wait till it hits the bargain like it costing maybe like $20-30 dollars then I can see it being a better buy.

I played the previous Dead Rising games as a kid, and honestly was not aware there was a 4th game out. This game definitely lives up to the rest of the games, and the new weapons to create are awesome!

Great game, a lot of fun, easy to pick up and play. You don't need to have played the previous iterations of the franchise to enjoy the game. If you love slaying zombies, this is the game for you!

Really fun game. Plenty of variety of weapons with some replay value due to achievements and the point system that allows you to keep upgrading your character. Took about 13 hours for the first play-through to complete the story. Good old zombie bashing fun. You will mash the X button a lot but it doesn't retract from the overall fun see zombies electrocuted by a Christmas wreath or bashed in the face by a sledgehammer with grenades duct taped to the end of it.

Dead Rising 4 is the type of game you play when you want only nothing more than to see zombies aniliated in a gory fashion with weapons that are utterly indescribable. You can run down hoards of zombies by the hundreds with a single triceratops helmet or create firework cannons that send sparks of every color toward your slow foes. I am not sure if this game is supported byHDR, but the color pigments are gorgeous and the overall quality and production value is high. A must-have in my book. If you know what you are getting in to before you buy the game, you will be extremely satisfied.

Much better gameplay than Dead Rising 3, controls are more intuitive and building combo weapons is easier. Fun story line with Frank too!

Plays much like Dead Rising 3, but with Frank West back in the lead role. Still a blast destroying hordes of zombies. Unlike the first game, there is no timer, so no time crunch while exploring the much larger Willamette. The new inventory system is a nice addition, but the lack of psychopaths is a little disappointing. The maniacs stand in as a dismal replacement. Overall, still a great game.

Gameplay and story are fun. This is a great Dead Rising experience. There are gripes about loss of co-op story and timed mode, but I personally never bought a Dead Rising again until 3 which had a more forgiving timed mode. Without it you can fully enjoy the game without rushing through it. Taking photos (selfies included) is very fun when you add a little creativity to your shots. Very fun game.

I haven't played a Dead Rising game since the first and decided to pick this one up. It's definitely worth a buy if you enjoyed the first game. It doesn't have the time sensitive missions like the first, but that's actually a plus in my opinion. Weapons can be crafted on the spot when you find the blueprints and parts which is awesome because there are so many weapons to use. The amount of zombies on screen at once is amazing and makes it slightly terrifying to run around when your running low on health.

Dead Rising stumbled into the current generation with Dead Rising 3, but Dead Rising 4 is a big improvement. Set during the holidays and staring my favorite hero of the franchise, Frank West, there's a silliness here that's so refreshing. It's a little buggy, but the vehicles and weapons feel all-around better this time around, and the mall environment is a treat to explore.

This game got a lot of hate when released because it was a buggy mess. Most of that has been patched since then. The game is not to be taken serious, it’s a hack n slash game where you around killing hordes of zombies in a comedic manner. The series has always been like that. Overall you will have fun playing this game and it is “X enhanced”. Minus two stars for the few bugs to patch and for not using Franks original voice actor :/

I have never played Dead Rising 1-3, but 4 looked to good to pass up on. The story is actually decent and there are plenty of things to do around the town. The weapon/vehicle combos are ridiculous but also hilarious. Took me about 15 hours to finish the game and I killed 17,000 zombies...so there are a lot of Zombies. If you have an Xbox One, get this game.

If you just need to blow off steam and kill a bunch of zombies, this is the game to do that. Getting to create your own weapons and change into hilarious outfits keeps it interesting.
