This was something i had waited for to find a good price

It’s no secret that the 3rd season is a bit of a bummer (especially the focus on the people putting on plays) and that the series doesn’t really have an ending and leaves you feeling a little hollow. However, this is one of the greatest series ever made. It’s tremendously well acted (Al is the best!), the effort put into the costumes, set and writing is just phenomenal. It’s side-splitting funny at times (Wu!), and it gets better with each viewing. I don’t buy many movies or shows, but this is a must own. I read the book, “Deadwood” written by Pete Dexter that the great David Milich said he used as his guide. You realize there’s so much “could’ve been” regarding the show after reading that great book..but what Milich created is simply tremendous.

Deadwood is absolutely worth owning. It's beautifully shot and the story line is deep. I love the book-like packaging, too. It's a shame that the show was canceled after three seasons, but I recently read HBO and David Milch are going ahead with a movie.

Great TV-Series from HBO. 13 Disc for a great price. Only disappointment was I thought these came with digital HD codes. But contacted HBO & they said this particular box set does not come with the Digital HD Codes. Still a great buy.
