I love this album! It's awesome from start to finish. A lot of people knock it before listening to it, just because St. Anger made a lot of people lose faith in Metallica. It's definitely no Kill Em All, but this is a great album. A few great songs off of it are All Nightmare Long and The Day That Never Comes

If you're a Metallica fan, this is a must buy. I love all of Metallica's studio records, however this ranks near the top. Many fans were disappointed with their two previous records, Load and Reload, however this record brings Metallica back to their heavy roots.

Death Magnetic has Metallica taking a break from their past hard rock sound and branching back into heavy metal, and the results are fantastic. The sound compression on the CD distorts some of the bass and drum tracks, but overall, this is a quality album.

This is an awesome album, but hard to find on the shelf these days. Lost mine and needed to replace. Ordered online and received it in 48 hrs even though I didn't pay for expedited shipping.

I so much prefer to purchase my music in hard copy form as in a CD so i have the power to convert it to which ever listening format i choose.

This album is definitely old school w/modern sounds. All together a great album.

it's a great cd to play when your driving takes the edge off when driving.

This was a Cd for my husband and he really likes it.

It was an average Metallica cd. I didn't know any songs on it before I bought it.

If you prefer older Metallica albums, then you will probably be a fan of this one. The songs have longer run times and the vocals are a little gritty.

I only wish that there was more of a selection of CD's in store. I would rather have CD's than download.

Its old school Metallica .loud fast and heavy.if you love old school Metallica then you will love this.

There's that word again -- "heavy." Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?

Not their best, but definitely worth listening to. Besides, if your a music hound as I am, you've gotta complete your collection.

These guys are classically trained musicians and it shows in the timing, also Lars hasn't changed from time as far as I can tell

Metallice went back to their roots on this album, really like it
