If you love the first game then this is going to make you stop playing the first one forever and will only make you wanna invest into death stranding 2.

Death stranding 2 is amazing. Many upgrades compared to the first one especially the combat and different gadgets and vehicles to try out

If you are a fan of DS1, you will definitely like this sequel. Gameplay is more polished this second time around. More action and fights than the first. Though still a porter game where you will deliver packages between areas constantly. Hideo Kojima's (Metal Gear Solid) story is as bizarre and fascinating as the first game.

Don't have time to play but box looks nice. Box is nice and rectangle. Unfortunately as a late 30s millennial with a fulltime job I can not find time to play this game and get engaged in it's deep story telling. Perhaps one day at the nursing home I'll finally be able to have time and pick up the game... Wait no!! Arthritis is kicking in nooooo!

[Employee of bestbuy] Hideo Kojima has done it again. What a beautiful and engaging story. The gameplay did not feel too repetitive at all. They upped the combat and world exploration. Sam’s story only gets deeper and more twisted as you play. From loving the first game to being obsessed with the second. Kojima has created an almost movie-style video game. The cutscenes are amazing, graphics are stunning, and overall a blast to play. There are tons of cool interactions with characters and tons of funny and engaging moments. I highly recommend this for anyone that enjoys a good chill single player experience.

Absolutely gorgeous world, solid acting and mocap, usual Kojima-weirdness. It builds pretty nicely on some of the wins from the first game, I think the gameplay here is better than DS1 but the story is slightly under DS1. It's honestly been awhile since I played a game where I wanted to replay it again immediately after, but I found that when I switched to Yotei after this that I genuinely missed the Death Stranding world and gameplay.

It's a good game for sure, but it's distinctly less challenging than the original. They made a number of quality of life improvements and honestly I think they went a little too far with that; this type of game needs some friction or the experience feels too smooth, too artificial. I also very much dislike the addition of Dollman as a constant companion; part of the appeal of the first game was the long stretches of solitude while traversing a sublime landscape. I don't want to hear quips or comments from a weird little puppet guy while I am in the wilderness. Still, a very good game. Beautiful graphics, plenty of Kojima's signature auteur style.
