wow its a game and half. a lot of stuff going on with a lot of challenge. differnt then almost any game ive played and an amazing soundtrack

This game is unlike any other but what you would expect from the creator himself. It’s a lot of walking and grinding at first. The graphics are unbelievable as well.

I like the game, slow in the beginning but picks up later in the game. Repetitive missions may get tedious and frustrating. Stick with it!

Death Stranding is hard to describe. It doesn't really fit into any genre, maybe a closish neighbor would be Zelda Breath of the Wild, but it's also been called a walking simulator. You do spend a lot of time walking through beautiful and dangerous landscapes, avoiding dangers of many kinds, and changing your worn boots. There's little combat compared to virtually all other AAA titles, and that might make this game a bore for some. What you'll love are characters, setting, and those Hideo Kojima cutscenes though. Some shots are completely novel to a video game, maybe novel to anything ever. It's something else.

I'll admit, gameplay footage that I saw of this game didn't look very interesting, but this has proven to be a very addicting game that I have a hard time putting down.

I haven't beaten it yet, but this game is nuts! Very interesting story that is pretty fun so far, but be prepared to be thoroughly confused

...but a little repetitive. The game has a bizarre, bonkers plot that is interesting and engaging, and has terrific characters and music.

This game hit all of the right notes for me. Been a Kojima fan since the OG Metal Gear and he did not disappoint. 70+ hours in and I still can't put it down!!!

Haven't gotten too far into the game but so far, it's pretty solid - a somewhat underrated video game if I may say so.

I’ve been playing for a couple of days now and I can honestly say this game is both super weird but I can’t stop playing.

Just running around delivering packages is more fun than it sounds. I am only a few hours into the game though. Can see that it would be for everyone.

Game is good. A little slow and dull in the beginning but it picks up. The driving of vehicles is a little rough.

This game has different story than other games out there and it takes a minute to get used to it but after gets fun to play.

The story is more uplifting than Kojima’s previous outings, but the systems leave something to be desired. Weapons do too little damage in miniboss battles, and it’s very easy to get caught without the equipment you need for a fair fight. This would be fine if it weren’t for the fact that failure permanently disfigures the game world. There are also a bunch of under explained mechanics—such as when you can or can’t level up your relationship with preppers—and ones that were just plain cumbersome—like load balancing.

Beautiful game. Definitely has that Kojima weirdness though. $10 PS5 upgrade to directors cut.

Although it's been called a "walking simulator" it's a great game with good story and huge map. Definitely worth the full price.

The beauty and genius of this game is insane. But if you're expecting an open world fighting game, this isn't for you. Not here for the combat but for the story.
