  • great game that I had to stop playing (CW: COVID)

    I bought this game and started it, got through the first two chapters and was enjoying the experience until the COVID-19 pandemic started to take over global culture. It felt very odd to play a game about a world taken over by a biological/supernatural crisis that killed entire populations and that going outside was a dangerous task. I hope to have returned to this game in the future and experience it without a weird context

    Definitely the game of the year. Stick with it through the beginning and the game really opens up.

    I'm torn by this game. I have a hard time describing exactly what it is beyond beautiful visually. Is it fun? Maybe. Is it odd, certainly. I have to be in the right mood to play this, but when I play it, still get some satisfaction from it. I think this depends on ones taste.
