I wanted to upgrade our home theatre speakers, and these were a perfect fit. These speakers deliver great clarity, fantastic bass response, and an immersive sound stage in a beautiful design. The AV receiver driving this setup is a Denon AVRx4500. Another plus: I retirer two external subwoofers, since the built-in 8" units add high impact for music and movies. If you're looking for an attractive and great sounding speaker, give the Def Tech BP9040 a try!

Bought a pair of these speakers to replace a setup of promonitor 600 fronts with a prosub 800. These sound amazing. Night and day difference in the clarity and staging.

Highly recommended, no need for a separate powered subwoofer. Be sure to pair with a highly powered amp. I suggest 180W per channel minimum.

If you haven't heard bipolar speakers, listen to them first. They provide a different experience by using reflected sound (from a rear-firing woofer and tweeter) that can be described as spacious. This makes their placement very important. The built-in subwoofer is one active 8" woofer and two 8" passive radiators. With lots of testing, they go very low for the size and have almost no distortion. It helps justify the price if you don't need to buy a separate subwoofer.

When I brought these speakers home I was impressed with how they were made they sounded great with certain types of music, but could not rock out like I wanted. I listen to lots of different types of music. I would recommend these speakers for smoother mellower types of music.

AMAZING! My first real home theater purchase in nearly 2 decades. I spent weeks researching and listening to different systems at different outlets. I found no other brand can match the aesthetics and design, nor combine all that with beautiful sound and amazing customer service.
