I bought these as a self-birthday gift and this will be my first real sound system. I started only with a pair of ProMonitor 800s, they are amazing If your looking for a big movie sound. These speakers go great with any of the Pioneer Elite receivers (I chose the VSX-40 which is a 7.1 dual-zone receiver). I will be buying the ProCenter 1000, another pair of ProMonitor 800s and one of the DefinitiveTechnology Sub-woofers, probably the ProSub 1000.

Super quality and sound is fantastic, I have BP8020 and the midrange now it’s completely with the ProMonitor800.

I really like these speakers. They look nice on the wall and sound amazing. I got these on sale at BB and cant complain. They do what they are supposed to do and dont distort at high volumes. I have them waal mounted and they look amazing. I have them paired up with the Def Tech ProCenter 1000, Def Tech 10" ProSub 1000, a pair of Klipsch Icon WF-34 and a Onkyo TX-SR607. Everything sounds great.

Sounds great forca lower price surround passive speaker. A little heavy at 3 lbs.

I am using this with 7.2.2 system, 8020 ST towers 8060 HD center SM 55 bookshelf as surround Supercube 6000 subs PM 800 TMd Pioneer Elite SC95 and Samsung 4K TV I have to get Definitive Tech for voice match. to be honest this speaker could be used in 5.1 system also they are so good, i need it for surround only, bought wall mount with it also which is great to mount and move the speaker in required direction. after running Pioneer speaker calibration everything is all set. Now full Dolby Atmos setup done. this would be good addition if one need the top middle speaker needed for Dolby Atmos.

It took me forever to find this center chanel with months of looking and research. I didnt know anything about Definitive at all. HIghly recommend them on any speaker. Huge sound out of little speakers. Absolutely amazing.

Excellent quality speakers. Easy to set up, Nice Design

The sonics is second to none in this price class. When driven by good /high current amplification the PM 800s will play as load as any other satellite speaker.I was at first skeptical about their ability to fill a 12 W x 29L feet listening area, but these speakers get the job done. I am impressed as I initially purchased these as a shoe-in to a larger system, but will keep the Procinemas as my main speakers. I have a 5.1 system with PM 800 as fronts, ProCenter 1000,Promonitor 100 as rears, and Velodyne SPL-1000R 10" subwoofer.

These speakers produce amazing sound for the size. I have them hooked up to a Yamaha aventage receiver in a 7.1 setup and the clarity and fullness of this setup is fantastic. Compared these to klipsch and Polk and the difference is noticeable. For the price you can't beat these. I had the procinema 600 and liked the sound but these had quite a bit more punch to them and the prosub 800 provides deeper bass. Music sounds as good as movies. You will not be disappointed

These are my fronts, paired with a ProCenter1000, and 600's in the rear, plus a Definitive ProSub 600 and a MartinLogan Dynamo - I couldn't be happier with the way my system sounds. The sound space is incredible, and you can hear individual rain drops, strings being plucked, etc. Absolutely worth it.

Have these as surrounds. Sound awesome, however there's a slight buzz every now and then with lower frequencies. Could be the mounting bracket. So, can't blame the buzz on the speakers. Overall, I'm very surprised at how they handle the 135 watts I throw at them without distortion. Highly recommended. I am getting the ProMonitor 1000's now to see if they are able to handle the sound without ANY buzz, but these are still awesome, especially for the price.

From the specification, the frequency response of 57 HZ looked like these speakers were ideal front speakers. Unfortunately the speakers doesn't make any audible sound below 100 HZ for sure. It might produce the low frequency as advertised but it cannot be heard. Keep in mind that small speaker means small bass and large speaker means large bass. Don't go by the numbers or advertisement. The sound quality is comparable to cheaper Bose 161, Bose doesn't advertise that their speaker can play really low frequency sounds like Definitive. It is great if someone wants good looking surround speakers with no expectation of lound sounding front speakers.

These are the type of speakers when you watch a movie the sound just sounds like it's flowing from the speakers even at high volumes. I have 6 of these and a procenter 1000 along with a 12" sub. on a Denon reciever the sound will blow any bose system away with out a problem. it shakes the windows in my house and knocks pictures off the wall. with no distortion in the speakers at all.

I am using these speakers as rear surround speakers and have been very happy with my choice. Some people use these as front speakers, but I chose to use the Studio Monitor 55 instead. These little speakers are wall mounted and sound great in the system.

I got these due to the fact I bought the Procinema 800 system. These are really good sounding speakers along with a powered sub. Were I really appreciated these speackers was when I dumped the Center channel of this package and buy another center channel. I'm running a Yamaha RX-A740 to drive these and these little guys put out all the highs and lows you'll need for a small to mid size room. They are well constructed and look good.

One great thing about this speaker you might not have thought of: you may have to lift your TV up so it won't block your screen -- I had to jack up my 40-inch Samsung by four inches -- but if you don't mind doing that, you can save $75 off the cost of the ProCenter 1000 and get a center channel identical, not just similar, to your other speakers. How's that for a deal? :-)

They say good things come in small packages and that is why I bought 4 of these speakers. They sound amazing and blend well with the Dev Tech center ProMonitor 1000 and 1000 sub. I highly recommend these.

Great little speaker with great sound!!! I would recomend this brand. It's a little more than you're average bookshelf speaker but well worth it in the long run.

clear crisp sound, they were a used product and returned by previous owner because they did not match his new speaker set. They worked very well for me. some mild difficulty in getting the speaker wires threaded. full sound. only downside, price was a little steep
