This is the ultimate bass box! Top of the line and can't be beat.

My old B&W subwoofer died after more than 10 years service, so looking for a replacement I found this beauty. 600watts for the price most people charge for 1/3rd the power. It's not about being loud, but smooth recovery for those low tones. This does a first rate job in my relatively modest home theater setup.

This is a powerful sub. So much so that it tends to overpower the voice and midrange details regardless of what adjustments are made.

This product really does well at what it does. I cannot complain about it. I bought this as a replacement for my Klipsch SW450 sub that went out. I had this turned up to 10 and it couldn't keep up with the rest of my speakers.This will be better for a lower power system that the one I had where it got drowned out.

Hits you in the shoulders but not in the gut. You can’t cheat physics. This one was no exception. It offers a nice fill bass but lacks warmth. Nice size though but not fully practical. I will be returning this one sadly.

small and compact size for a good thing and there are no settings buttons as a bad.

I bought this sub thinking it was going to knock hard. After listening to it for a while I noticed that it lacked sound. Don't get me wrong it is amazing how much sound comes out of such a small box but it still needs more. For the same price I got the Polk audio 12" sub and it was day and night difference. The box was three times larger than the def tech but the sound is amazing.

I picked up an open box supercube 2000 from my local best buy on my way to purchase the 1000 series sub instead. I was not disappointed. It puts out monster sound and the range is great. It's not just "loud" or "bassy." It sounds like a true movie theater experience.

It sounded good, but I decided to go with a different brand.

Bought this to replace OLD RCA subwoofer in bedroom. Use Definitive subs in Theater Room, so I knew what I was getting performance wise. When it went on sale for 50% off - I had to get it!!
