The view angle and contrast on the screen are not monitor grade, but they allow for more private viewing when in public areas. Chrome has all of the apps that I need for both business and entertainment.

My son also plays games on his. Great for their needs at this time. Recommend getting the insurance, as the screen is sensitive and even slight bumps can mess it up if hit just right.

I have no issue so far, and happy about it. But compared to my surface, I can feel it is not as premium, but good deal on this price.

If you know Microsoft office you are at a disadvantage. Nothing works the way you expect it too. For the price I really should not complain.

The quality of the Chromebook is identical to the new, original Chromebook I bought from Best Buy when it originally came out almost a decade ago.

What is also great about the purchase is that I was able to use my Best Points rewards certificates towards my purchase!

We appreciate your feedback. We'd recommend checking for any updates for your Chromebook to see if it will help your computer run faster:
1. Turn on your Chromebook.
2. Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi.
3. At the bottom right, select the time.
4. Select Settings.
5. Select Menu and then About Chrome OS.
6. Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll see which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook is using.
7. Select Check for Updates.
8. If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.

Great chromebook for 9 yr old

The salesperson ordered it for me and I received it the next day at my home. My granddaughter loves it. She told me "Nana, this is a great chromebook ".

I cannot use Microsoft office on it. Tried downloading the Microsoft apps and it still will not work. You can use the web based Microsoft 365 but I prefer the app or desktop version.

It's great for browsing, text documents, and very light photo editing. Chrome has a few idiosyncrasies that I'm not a fan of, but I can deal with them while on the road

Ordered both and epoxied the broken hinge back into the lid. Would not buy another one. Have other dell products that have been trouble free

Forget their cell phones, everywhere they go the chrome book is in their hand. It works great for them to do their homework and papers.

So this little guy is perfect. Any docs I need, I can use Google docs... and it auto saves to my drive. Starts up quick. Not bad battery life. Best of all, inexpensive.
