A laptop for the most basic of functions, it is perhaps best thought of as a tablet with a keyboard. In that respect, the lack of a touch screen stands as it's only real deficiency.

Needed a small inexpensive chromebook for my stepdaughter. Allowed her to stream youtube/netflix/hulu with little to no issues. She uses it all the time when someone else is on the desktop.

Bought this for our 11 year old to do school work. Connects great to all the google chrome apps. It does have access to the play store. So far we are really happy with the purchase.

If you need a laptop small that fit in your regular college desk or high school chair this is a very good choice

For the money this computer does what it needs to do for my 8 year old son.. He uses it for his visual therapy and homework for school.

Perfect for checking emails and zoom meetings. Used it for elementary school remote learning during pandemic and it was great.

I have always preferred Dell Computers over any other brands. I was happy to see that they had a chromebook like the one our granddaughter wanted. She in always doing something on it. She loves it.

Chromebooks work well for our family. This one is spec’d well for the price. The only downside is the keyboard, sometimes a keynotes doesn’t register. Usually the spacebar.

I like but it’s missing a few features that I would like for it to have. It doesn’t have any Microsoft office apps so that sucks but beside that and the minor freezing it’s good for the price.

My husband I and I purchased this laptop for simple work and printing from home. It has gotten a little slow when I have a lot of windows open; that’s my only complaint

I like the value and weight. Slightly smaller screen than I am used to. No backlit keyboard. Small sacrifices for a nice Chromebook for my kids and their school work.

Bought for my 8 yr. old to use for google classroom and watch netflix. Works with no lag time.

my second dell chromebook for my daughter. first one worked for 2 years, then wouldn't charge anymore. cheap enough to replace, just don't expect it to last.

Good laptop and I got a good deal on it. The only drawback for me personally was that I’m used to a tablet so the size and layout of it took some getting used to.

Let me start by saying I KNOW I was not buying a powerhouse computer. This was purchased primarily so that my wife and son can access sites that work better though a traditional browser and complete basic take best done with a keyboard. I am familiar with Chromebooks and have been using a Samsung version for over a year as a lightweight work computer. This Dell was on sale for about 50 dollars less than I paid for that computer on sale and the specs are basically identical. That said I find this Dell exceptionally mediocre even with low expectations in the first place. The bills quality seems very flimsy and more importantly in operation it runs very slowly. My experience with the Samsung Chromebook had been that operation outside of an app navigating is crisp and responsive and web browsing is acceptable. Everything on this Dell is clunky from startup through every activities I have tried. My family is less critical of the operation as neither has prior Chromebook experience. It does what they need it to do, and I guess that's all that matters at this price. Just to prove I am not all negative I will say that I love the feel of the keys- responsive and accurate and I would say much better than the keyboard on my 3 year old Dell laptop that cost 6 times as much. I would say that if all that you want is a dirt cheap browsing/email computer for kitchen table use this would be adequate. For real computer work I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This is fine for a Chromebook, but for the same money I would buy one with more storage. Also would be nice if had USB C ports.

Inexpensive, light weight, reliable, but also no memory, slow, and a simple Chromebook not a laptop. Meeting my expectations.

This chromebook is great for social media and things similar to what a smart phone can do I do wish it be able to add more apps or extensions for book / school work!

I needed to do a small project for work. The chrome book I used had more than enough power for me to fulfill my requirement at home. I find myself using it more than I thought I would

I purchased this for my mother for Mother's Day. It is still working, with no viruses, no blue screen, and no intervention from me. For this alone this thing deserves 10 stars.
