Great laptop i just wished the keyboard lit up. Would recommend unless you are doing work in low lit areas

The bones are ok, just needs a bit of tweaking. I added another 8 GB of memory before I even plugged it in and switched it out of S mode during setup. USB to Ethernet adapter worked plug and play. All in all, if you can get it on sale cheap like I did, go for it. If you don't get a lemon... or a lemonade for Rhode Islander's, Dell's last a long time.

This laptop is okay for basic use, but it feels limited depending on what you need. It doesn’t have many ports, which makes it harder to connect multiple devices without extra adapters, and the keyboard isn’t backlit, which can be inconvenient in low light. For simple tasks like schoolwork, browsing, and streaming, it works well and would be a good option for students. However, for anything beyond that—like multitasking, work-related tasks, or more demanding use—it falls a bit short. Overall, it’s decent for light use but not the best fit for more advanced needs.

My first computer many, many years ago was a Dell. This one is light-years ahead from my original one. it is light weight w/ a large screen. The touchscreen option is nice.

This is a replacement laptop for my wife. I had to set it up and bring the old files over. What a easy experience. This is a wonderful day to day little worker.
