Would have given it 5 stars were it not for some buggy setup issues.
When I first powered up the computer it ran through the Cortana narrated initial set-up script fine...until we got to "Dell Support Assist". Generally speaking, I used to obliterate all bloatware anytime I received a new PC. This time however, I didn't feel like doing the typical Windows re-install and hunting down all the drivers. According to the user manual, Dell Support Assist is supposed to "proactively check the health of your computer's hardware and software". Note the word "proactive"... That means there is a process that runs continuously on your computer to perform these checks. Apparently this little program used to chew up quite a bit of RAM but apparently Dell corrected that issue and on my system the RAM usage was reasonable and thus far I have just left it installed with the other Dell programs until my initial warranty period is over.
The issue I had with the Dell Support Assist setup step came with updating my Wifi driver. I detecting the out of date driver, downloaded the updated driver but then the installation would fail. I called tech support (since this a brand new PC) and the proverbial "Hello. My is Scott" support tech with a thick Indian accent manually installed the driver without issue and indicated that there could possibly be a bug in the Support Assist app.
The only other setup issue I had was creating a recovery USB stick. Could not do it... I tried several different online solutions and none worked. It would get about 2/3 done and give me the extremely useful (not!) error "We can't create the recovery drive - A problem occurred while creating the recovery drive"
When you search online, you find out that this is a pretty common problem with Windows 10, so I don't really blame the new laptop for this one. The workaround I used was to download the free "Media Creation Tool" from the Microsoft website and use it to create an "installation media" (aka bootable USB), with a clean copy of Windows 10 ready to install if needed. If you go this route, make sure you document your Windows software key (not the ID, the software KEY) which you may have to download a 3rd party program (like NirSoft "Produkey" or similar) to accomplish.

Have had this machine for a little over a week, paid 1499 originally, early Black Friday deal dropped to 1099 today and BB honored the discount, which more than made up for the 200 I dropped on a Samsung 970 Evo plus 1TB NVME SSD primary drive. Already had a 1TB 860 Evo 2.5 SATA drive for the secondary drive.
So now this machine is loaded for bear, runs Borderlands 3 benchmark at 82fps, Outerworlds runs butter-smooth, and Photoshop/Lightroom editing is super snappy.
I only have one problem with it and that is it runs really hot on the keyboard. This is the deduction from 5 to 4 stars. Will update if repasting drops temps significantly or not.
Otherwise, I am extremely pleased with this machine.

Pretty good PC notebook as it is compatible with the game I’m developing. It’s Windows so expect less polish and reliability than a MacBook. I would’ve bought Mac if my job requirements didn’t require a windows machine. One thing that does drive me crazy is it’s loud! The fan will just kick into overdrive even when you are not doing anything, even on a hard desktop, even when I’m sleep mode. Had it randomly lose power once though it was plugged in and also a couple of freezes when both Maya and Unity were open.

My husband has been begging for a gaming computer for a couple of years now. Every time we would save up, life would happen and we were then unable to buy him one. It’s unfortunate. This tax season I PROMISED I would buy him one. The one he originally wanted sold out and went out of stock with no date on when it would return.
So I started looking again. Our kids were sick so I was up at 3am and found this one.
He LOVES IT. It runs all of his games that he plays with minimal effort. (Warhammer 1/2, total war, Skyrim, etc) fairly intense games but it handles it.

I use this laptop as a desktop on the go, it is very large and heavy but battery life is great! has a premium quality feel doesn't feel big and cheap. i7 just runs through all my 3d design work and games! i have a laptop stand and this baby is next to me all night every night while i watch twitch streams and do 3d design or editing. RTX 20 series graphics are unmatched and i max out all games I play. i added a 500gb ssd and maxed out machine with 32gbs of memory which isn't to expensive. overall a great machine with excellent battery life and temps.

This machine is purpose built for the advanced gamer. It has all the power and controls you could need or desire. Having had a problem signing on to the internet after it shut down on it's own. The Geek Squad could not talk me through getting it back working in a 20 minute phone call. The next day at the store it took another Geek Squad person over a half hour to get it up and running correctly. The person working on the machine referred to it as " A Beast."

This is a great laptop but i should of went with Alienware. It costs the same but has a 144hz screen rather than a 60hz. Their are 144hz options for this laptop though. As well the fan noise. I can get over it while gaming but i do not understand why i ramps up when i'm idle or in discord with a CPU utilization of about 5%. Overall good build quality great performance and does what i need it to do when I need it to do it. I recommend 95%

I bought this laptop to replace a 4 year old laptop that just wasn't cutting it anymore. So far, with what I've used it for (modded Kerbal Space Program, some TraimSim World and American Truck simulator), it does the job well. I can run pretty solid graphics settings without much issue, except Kerbal is more CPU speed dependent than GPU speed, so for KSP I'm not pushing things too hard.
I've not yet found time to put it to the real test processing drone imagery for orthomosaic maps and 3d wireframes. But considering the old computer I had been using, I have no doubt this new Dell will do much better, even if not at top of the line specs for such heavy processing demands. We shall see.
There were one or two peculiar issues I had with the laptop. For example, the wifi was ridiculously bad no matter what settings in Windows I selected, while older machines on the same home network never had an issue. It just would not connect to the most trusted of sites, including the Microsoft store or to Office login, or most any site where you'd enter a password. Through some forum posts, I found out it was likely the settings for the wifi board itself ... the control program for which was not even installed on the laptop. Once I got that installed, the wifi worked as it should, and i even get a nice customization program where i can prioritize some sites over overs, and monitor the up- and download speeds on my network faster than is displayed in Windows.
Overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase, although it wasn't quite good-to-go straight out of the box which is why I knocked it a star. But I'm sure this will serve me well for the foreseeable future.

I bought it because I was looking for a powerful machine which could fulfil all my needs of little bit gaming and high processing.
The system is very bulky and heavy. Which I think is needed considering the powerful processor it has. I really liked how much customizable it is when you open the back panel. It powerful but looks kind of dull and heavy on bagpack.
But I decided to go with the alienware m15 r2 which was on sale and I was getting for the similar price. But I regret since you can customize the memory on those.

Ive had this computer since 6/24/2019
its been a very reliable computer, I normally just use it to play VR(virtual reality) on my Rift S which has been a great experience so far. Has no problem pulling the graphics to a very strong level. it is a big computer not very light weight but im not really carrying it around everywhere I go so its not a deal breaker for me.
I changed the 1TB HDD to a 1TB SSD Samsung and updated my ram from the 16GB to 32GB so its running like a champ.
Don't Regret the laptop at all.

I wanted a computer that I could play Plants Vs Zombies on and not lag. My husband got me this one and I use it not only to play that game but also Guild Wars 2. I could not have asked for a better laptop. It also helps that I do all banking and every day things on it and no problems. So now I can quit taking his gaming computer.

Runs everything I can throw at it at ultra and 60fps, The hdd is slow but I only paid $999 for this and with everything considered another 100$ for a 1tb ssd is minor.
Cons:
-It does run a bit warm, so a cooling pad might be useful.
-The screen is not that great
-Can get loud at times, but no coil whine like some other gaming laptops
Pros:
-9750h
-Rtx 2060 non maxq
-Every port you could need
