Fast, responsive, powerhouse of a laptop. Both CAD and gaming run smooth!

Loved the performance, graphics and the speed of this laptop. Totally worth it.

I think that based on the graphics and over all price point that this laptop shouldn't freeze or lag with a certain game. But at the same time it is soooo much better than the old laptop i was using. The battery life is total crap! You would think that for this much money a long-lasting battery would have been used. Graphics are awesone! Over all id give it a. 4.

For VR gaming, processing power/speed, this is a great laptop for the price. HOWEVER... For Pro Audio users- meaning DJs, Producers, users of Traktor, Serato, Ableton Live, ProTools, etc....anyone who needs reliable, low latency, glitch-free audio- DO NOT BUY A DELL!!! There is a known issue on Dell laptops with the acpi.sys driver, which causes extremely high latency- meaning you will have pops, crackles and dropouts. As of Sept 2019, this problem has not been addressed by Dell, and it's NOT something you can fix with system optimization. Be warned, I wasted weeks trying to solve this, only to end up frustrated, and forced to return it. Which is a shame, since otherwise, it's a great machine- but just not for Pro Audio users. Hopefully I have saved someone from banging their head against a wall, by posting this.

Not a gamer, I purchased this gaming laptop because I needed a laptop to support my large stock trading platform which runs similarly to a large fast paced game. It is fast, graphics are great. If I had to complain about something it would be the battery doesn’t last as long as I would have liked. The fan is a bit loud when cooling but it’s in my home office so it’s really not an issue.

The laptop is fast. The large monitor is great for my old eyes. Great features!

To be honestX not fully satisfied but the specs is really good, it is really worth for its price and you can video editing with this laptop and also play hardcore games with this laptop. I switch to another laptop because of the bsod failure (a.k.a blue screen of death). hopefully everyone that bought this laptop has no issues but make sure to get a cooling pad when getting this laptop, not only that it weight quite heavily. The surround system is good and the processor is fast. Overall it is good, I really like it but I have no fate with this laptop so I returned it and ended up getting MSI GS65 because it was so light and it looks thinner and the design caught my eye. Hopefully it will turns out well!

I can run everything on High if not Ultra graphics levels. I did have it lock up once. Checked internet tech sites, and I had to open case to unhook and rehook battery. It worked and only had that problem once. Other than that, it has been great for gaming.

Excellent laptop also graphics very fast I thought about going cheaper and purchase the aces rogue that was 1000 brought it home load everything on it started playing a game the fans started making a lot of noise and the whole entire laptop started vibrating now the Dell laptop the fans kick on when you’re doing heavy gaming but no vibration and the 144 Hz screen is excellent

Purchased this laptop to replace a older rig and I wasn’t disappointed. So far has ran everything I’ve thrown at it perfectly. The unit does get extremely hot, but I have read this is due to having to small of a cooling fan. I would recommend using a stand or cooling pad underneath.

Awesome laptop super fast crystal clear screen loads of storage

This isn't the fanciest or the splashiest machine, but I will say this, it's really an Alienware m17 R2 in Dell clothing. It's so Alienware that the actual Alienware FX Control Center is what this machine runs to allow overclocking and customization. It's really just a slightly heavier version of the Alienware but for a lot less money!

Powerful, fast And everything I was hoping and looking for!

Love my large screen gaming laptop! First thing I did was bump this to 32GB RAM, and swapped the mechanical hard drive out with an SSD. Silent and quick!!! Came installed with Alienware applications - over clocking/optimization.

I purchased this unit specifically for school and work. Ie writing machine code and designing systems. I have since uploaded the unit to 64gb ram and a 2tb 2.5" drive for mass data storage . This laptop is very fast stock with a few upgrades the laptop is even better.

Excellent performance and very fast Laptop, I work like digital animation engineer and need to make many presentations and edit them. For gaming and music videos is very good appearance! Drive space is enough for my documents and video presentations. I like my Dell Laptop and I recommend for all type of activities.
