A 17 inch laptop with 16 GB ram a 10 generation i7 processor, ssd drive. Bluetooth 5 for under $1000 is a good value. The fan can be loud, not 4k graphics and no cd drive. Overall really enjoying it.

This Laptop is awesome! From photography, video, and just editing in general. It was perfect! Only thing is it gets hot fast! Due to all the awesome power it puts out!

been using this badboy on the quarantine, it can get hot on intensive tasks, replaced the SSDs with bigger faster storage, upgraded the ram, can blaze thru games and 3d programs. a bit noisy and can get hot but all gaming laptops are like that.

I bought this laptop a week ago and from what i can tell its amazing. For this money i am pretty sure that there is few options that can be potentionaly same or better than this one,but this laptop will not disappoint you. Pros Very fast and capable laptop Big screen Nice Keyboard Runs everything i could possibly put on it without any issues Lots of memory cons 60Hz screen Very Loud(If you are headset gamer that wont be issue,for me its not that big of a deal) Sometimes screen and sound would freeze on a milisecond but after few updates im pretty sure that wont happen again When u first get it it comes with a long charger and my advice would be turn it on give him some time to work to achieve a normal house temperature,than do all the updates u can at that moment,and then download stuff and play games,this laptop is gonna be your best friend for a very,very long time

I've waited until I've had this awhile to review it. I do mostly web browsing and streaming video with a few browser games tossed in here and there and this laptop does fantastically well with what I do. There are some issues with Dell Updates (not Windows Updates) in that some won't download at all and some will download but not install. A few pieces of Dell software got corrupted and I removed them (Alienware Command Center is one example). I see online this is fairly common. The Dell software issues have not affected anything important and for general use along with streaming and light gaming, this has worked out very well for me.

Bought this laptop for my 16 year old son who wanted to start recording music and vlogging. He also uses it to hook his xbox up to sometimes and it works great. He loves this laptop and cherishes it like no other! Amazing video and sound.

The laptop is phenomenal. It’s a new level of fast, it has Alienware software on it, and there’s so much space! I’m a regular gamer and there’s nothing this laptop can’t handle. I especially love the graphics. So sharp and there’s no lag!

I didn't purchase this as a gaming rig. I needed something with plenty of horsepower to run SQL Server and 3D Cad software. This thing handles everything I have thrown at it.

I haven't had a single problem with this computer. It is extremely reliable. The only problem is that the fan can be loud when you play games and it is on the heavier side. Other than that, love this laptop and highly recommend!

This is a fast laptop and is perfect for my cad programs and office tools. It is heavy for a laptop but I wanted a large screen and enough power to run my cad programs without slowing down the computer.

I use the computer for gaming daily and it works well. The speed is good but not as good as I expected. Sometimes the fan get really loud. Overall this is a good gaming lap top.

Was a bit skeptical at first, but it still hangs out with me daily between home and work. No issues to report. Let’s face it, this is a desktop replacement. It’s got a ton of power and the heat has to go somewhere. Do yourself a favor and get an active laptop cooler. It will make this laptop a dream to work with. Another thing to mention, I drive three external monitors with this using a dell display dock. It is usb based but I have a magnetic adapter to convert my thunderbolt port to usb. This makes it a breeze to connect and reduces port wear. This setup makes for a quad display with zero lag. :)

Got this for myself as a present for my birthday last year and I absolutely love this laptop, it's great for all around use and works really good on any game I play.. no complaints whatsoever about this laptop.

I forgot how big 17" laptops were. Unfortunately I had to return it because of it's size(ordered online). But it was an excellent laptop for what I needed it for(AutoCAD, ArcGIS).

I bought this laptop for my 19yo son for Xmas. He is very satisfied with the performance. He says it has a lot better graphics card than his gaming pc I bought him 2 years ago.

I needed a replacement for a 10-year old HP Envy 17 that was having motherboard issues. This was a comparably equipped laptop that had the updated, more current versions of hardware I had previously. So far, it seems to have taken over for my HP just fine. The good thing is, I now have a gaming-capable laptop that I didn't have before. I have yet to use it for gaming, but based on what my 15 year old son tells me, I should be able to do just about anything I want with it as far as gaming goes. Once it got to the point where it was completely updated, it seems to run smoother and faster. There were times at first after initial setup, that it was a little sluggish, or choppy considering the amount of RAM it has. But it has smoothed out after updating. Again, only had it for a month, but so far so good!

This laptop runs everything I throw at it with ease. Only takes 20seconds from startup to start playing. Nice lighting effects on the keyboard with the Alienware command center.

I dont do much gaming on it but it runs great for every day use. With a 2060 inside you can run most modern games on it. the 1920x1080 display is nice. 17.3 inch screen is big! Makes this not as portable.

I LOVE this laptop. I love the gaming world and the graphics are awesome on all my games (Neverwinter, Diablo III, Warframe, Path of Exile and several others. I love the larger laptops and this 17" is perfect for me !

I wanted something that could run my video editing software without skipping a beat. While also being able to aid me in battle against the hell spawn demons of DOOM! This laptop does that and soo much more!
