Really enjoy using this gaming laptop, every game that I've tested runs at 60 frames per second. I've been having 0 problems with this product.

Easy, fast setup. Running after 5 minutes and then another 20 minutes or so of Windows updates and it was raring to go. Very good battery life. Did not drain while off, unlike my other laptops. Didn’t use it for 5 days and battery was still at 96%. Really impressed with that. A bit on the heavy side, weighing in at 6 pounds. But being a gaming laptop, I’ll have it sitting on a desk so the weight won’t be an issue for me. The 3 USB ports are plenty fast and even includes an additional USB C. I know that will come in handy when I’m out and about. I’ll bring this laptop out in the car with me to edit photos I take. I have a car reader with new Sony memory cards with USB C output so this is going to be great this winter getting snowy owl and eagle pics and getting them edited before I get home. Very fast. Gave me a 3D Mark score of 4871 out of the box. Was almost as good as my desktop. The fans can be a bit noisy when they kick on. Sounded like a dull roar of a crowd at a football game to be honest. Wasn’t even sure what I was hearing at first LOL. Got used to it quickly now that I know what it is. I’ll be doing some adjustments since it does come with the Alien Command Center. That was really nice feature I didn’t even know I was getting with this. Beautiful backlit keyboard. Love the color blue accents on the case. Very stylish. Really love the look of it – Great design. Perfect laptop for the price – It was 699 but is back to 999 for the moment. If you can wait, wait until they drop it again and it’s way worth the price. Love this!!

I replaced my old computer after years of use and after days of research finally chose this one. It’s just what I needed for daily use.

So far so great! No issues setting up and my son has been using it daily for gaming and school work. Bought it on sale too which was a plus

No problems. Required a restart to register Windows, but connected to wireless and installed Microsoft Office without a problem.

While I am surprised you cannot charge via the USB-C, everything else has worked excellent for gaming and productivity purposes.

This DELL G3 Gaming Laptop went beyond what I was expecting when I placed the order. The display is a good size for my eyes (on my previous 13" laptop I had more eyestrain), and the blue backlit keyboard is very nice. It is thin and light for what it is. I was happy to see the inclusions of ports such as HDMI and Ethernet, which my last machine lacked and only supported via a USB adapter if/when they were needed. It's worth noting that this is not a touchscreen, though for me I find that to be an advantage (such as the issues when cleaning a dirty screen from touch and tapping buttons accidentally). The 512GB NVMe SSD helps keep it thin and ensures that this system boots and runs without the slowdown of a traditional hard disk, while providing ample storage. The Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti provides visual effects for games that are at least as good as the Nvidia 1070 that is on my Desktop gaming rig, making the laptop a fully functional portable gaming computer for my interests. The included i5 processor appears to have 8 cores (looking at device manager). The Wireless AC is perfect speed and matches my home network, and Bluetooth support is a nice benefit. The laptop does come with a free trial and discount for McAfee protection, but I believe in my personal case my cable company ALSO offers a "free" (with subscription) full version of McAfee protection so I opted for the one included with the cable bill. I had downloaded Steam and retrieved a few recent games in my library after getting the laptop up and running, and the graphics all were very smooth (fast) and look great.

Got this as a replacement for my daughter's laptop that couldn't be be repaired. Liked it so much, I bought a second one for myself.

The beat gaming laptop i have ever owned. I do a lot of gaming but i also do photography on it as well. Great quality product.

It’s great. I don’t do any mega intense gaming but I love the feel of the keyboard. The display is outstanding. Very happy

Upgrade the RAM, replace the thermal paste, undervolt with throttlestop, and replace the 60hz screen with a 120hz and it becomes a great gaming laptop that runs almost all triple A games.

A great laptop. You can upgrade RAM and it doesnt void warranty. Has worked great for me no issues. Power is great.

Over priced. Runs very hot. Bulky. Will not purchase another Dell computer. Bought as a replacement for another Dell that lasted 15 months.

On August 17, 2019 I went to BestBuy.com to purchase my new computer to use for college. There was this massive sale going on and found a price for a great laptop. The specs for the computer where quite off when I got the computer, but I didn’t find out till like 2 days later when I managed to play games for the first time on the computer. The reason is I am quite busy person with college eating up my schedule. The computer was a Dell G3 and was supposed to come with a GTX 1660 TI, Nahimic Gaming Audio Software, the Waves MaxxAudio that all Dell laptops come with, and a 144 hz screen. None of these came with the computer and when I check the website it still says that it comes with a GTX 1660 TI. The worst part is that in every other computer that does have a Max-Q version, it clearly says so. Also the website doesn’t say that the computer has a 144hz screen anymore. I got a GTX 1660 TI Max-Q which is around 10-15% worst than the GTX 1660 TI laptop version. I tried contacting Dell support for help, and they were useless. I spent half a month trying to work it out with them, but they couldn't help me. I also spent like another month with Best Buy customer support and they were useless as well. And take into account that I am a full-time college student. All that time that was part of my summer vacation and a good portion of my college time. Anyway, I went to the Best Buy store where I picked up my laptop and talked to the people there. The computer manager guy told me that if I wanted a compensation, I would have to pay the difference. But I already paid for everything they advertised, what a dude. Don't buy from these companies again if you don't to be taken advantage of like I was.

I bought this as a gift for my 10 year old grandson. He will love it as it will play the games he is wanting to play.

I bought this laptop after i returned the Dell G13 which has similar specs. This laptop blows it out the water

Actually really good laptop, ran fast with high graphics. Did need a cooling fan to help it keep cool, fans were pretty loud and it blew out a lot of heat. Still use it today but unfortunately the case/hing broke even though i always was very gentle with it. Still works but now i cant close or open it without causing more damage, hence the 3 stars. That also happened about a year or 2 ago.
