Great Performance, Excellent Machine for the Price

Not bad, I've only had it for almost a month and I've had no problems. Gets a little hot when playing demanding games, need to look for a cooling desk or whatever. Graphics card isn't top of line, but i can play all the games i play on high. Haven't played games like GTA5 on it though.

This was a fantastic buy, even better as an 'open box', The OS boots up in 5 seconds...you almost never hear the fan com on and the over all speed is great. I wanted something that will be consistent with industry standards for the next 5-8 years. The 16gb RAM that you can upgrade to 32 is perfect for that!!

This laptop works great when you are plugged in, but once you are on battery only power, the speed of the processing decreases significantly. So far so good though, since I am writing this review on it right now. Still has the power to game and get work done.

The Dell G7 is a great choice for budget gamers out there that want an introduction and accessibility towards pc gaming. The 1060 will run most games perfectly with the exception of AAA titles which will strain the computer a bit. Its got 1TB for whatever you want to download, and its vr ready.

I was looking for a good budget gaming laptop. This has been perfect so far. I did replace my 1 TB disk drive with an older solid state, just so I'd have the speed boost. Planning on upgrading my main drive, since it is kind of small. At some point. Well worth the under 1100 I paid for it. Thanks best buy :)

Having had a Lenovo ThinkPad for 11 years, I was hard-pressed to decide on a new computer. The Dell I got from BestBuy has blown me out of my socks. I am a web-surfer and needed speed. I was encouraged by a friend to get a gaming laptop. This Dell has surpassed all of my wants and the resolution is fantastic.

Laptop has good performance but the hinge and screen bend and distort over time. It does the job but frequent opening and closing of the display will cause screen to become loose and miss aligned.

Very powerful and fast only owned a few weeks but satisfied so far. Access to university networks not very flexible. A lot of configuration just to be able to access. Need more user friendly WiFi connection capability to access different WiFi networks. overall give it a 4/5 for now.

I bought this laptop two years ago and I can safely give a review from the experience I have had. This is a laptop with a tremendous amount of features. With the heavy factor being what seemed to be the only disadvantage when I bought it, performance has been a major setback. This laptop drains battery easily, is definitely not smooth. In fact, even a game of fifa 20 did not go as smoothly as I expected. I am not sure if it is Windows 10's ram utilization that was killing it or was it actually dell's firmware. Nevertheless, I wouldn't recommend somebody spending over a 1000 dollars for a "gaming" laptop that does not deliver in performance the way you would want.

I’m a long time Apple fan and have been using Apple Computers as my personal machine since 2006. Currently though, I am attending school for Cybersecurity and needed a windows PC powerful enough to run simulations in virtual machine. I wanted something that is reliable, has good specs, build quality, and aesthetics. The Dell G7 meets and exceeds my expectations. It’s a quality machine capable of handling anything I throw at it. The only issue I have with it has been echoed by other reviewers, and that is that the display isn’t vibrant and colors are somewhat washed out, but I love the matte finish because it reduces eye strain. Some reviewers complained about the brightness of the display, but it seems sufficiently bright in my opinion although I don’t use my laptop outside. Very happy with my purchase and it’s hard to find a computer with better specs for the price.

I love this laptop for the fact that it looks like most other laptops while still pushing high to max settings on games like WoW, Overwatch, and Monster Hunter World. I needed a laptop to game on for when i work away from home, but most gaming laptops are too flashy for my tastes.

I chose the particular laptop as not the newest but a last year release so it will be good for the next 4 years using it for light online use. Sufficient memory, great speed, and medium size makes it perfect for my wife as a replacement for her 6 year old Windows 7 machine.

I have had this for 8 months now. Works well and has decent performance, the only issue I have had with it, are: 1. You have to do a lot of updates yourself, Dell's update system doesn't really work well. minus 1 star for dell's bad software that comes with it.

Great deal for the price. Excellent hardware, be sure to update drivers for the GPU. The keyboard and screen leave a lot to be desired, but that’s why it’s a deal. Works well if you mostly work at a desk with an external monitor and keyboard, and occasionally need to play/work away.

I found this laptop on sale, and actually got an extra 20% off! It runs all of the games I play (GTA 5, Madden, etc..) with no problems on Ultra level. I've gotten so used to gaming on my laptop that I sold my GeForce GTX 1070 GPU for my desktop because I simply quit using it.

This is my first replacement laptop and over 6 years. I wanted something nicer than average but didn't want to spend a ton. When I follow this one in two configurations I knew it was the right one for me. pricing at Best Buy was better than any other place on the internet.

This laptop is solid across the board I use it for work and gaming. Dell has done it again I’m a big fan for the Alienware too. I plan on getting G7 2070 RTX at the end of year. I recommend this laptop 100% Go dell. And Go Best Buy it’s my favorite place shop

I was in the market for a new laptop and I decided on a gaming laptop. My friend suggested the Dell G7, telling me that it has everything that I needed for a great price. After using the laptop for a month, I am perfectly happy with the performance and the price that I paid for it.

Great laptop for people who do minor gaming. Haven’t played any extreme games on it yet but I’m sure it would handle great. Vivid graphics and very clear. Dim at first but with a few adjustments of the graphics settings it was perfect. Definitely recommend
