Great laptop- great for gaming. Does run hot instantly when games turn on... would advise anyone to get a lap rest or fan for underneath. Only fault with it honestly.

computer ran games great with good FPS and the processor and gpu combo is perfect. mine came with a broken fan, but dell was able top fix it or bestbuy was able to exchange!

I needed a gaming computer as an engineering student and it works great. Only wish it was lighter- gentleman who helped us took his time and was very knowledgable.

This laptop has pretty good specs. But the fans gets pretty loud at more demanding games, so loud that the default mic would only pic up the fan, not my voice

I really love it, its been almost 2 years and still working like brand new, the best part is that you can upgrade the storage yourself so that is a plus.

If looking for high-end mid-range gaming laptop, then look no further. Runs both old games and new games without a hitch. Plenty of ports for add-ons and expansion.

The only real issues I have with this one is that you might want an under cooler for gaming. I play Black Desert, Ark and APEX. They look and run great.

We are happy with the purchase of this laptop. It was easy to set up and my son loves playing his games on it. So far all is good and I’d highly recommend it.

Needed certain specs to run the photo editing programs that I like. My older desktop had an outdated graphics card so I couldn't use Topaz Studio to it's full extent. I debated on desktop and laptop but decided that I wanted the portability. A little bit of adjusting but I love this laptop! Wish the screen was a bit bigger but I am used to it now. The best part is that I can run different programs at the same time. I have run Photomatix to batch merge my bracketed photos and while they are merging I can edit single shots in Topaz or Smart Photo. I am not a pro but a serious hobbyist and would recommend this 100 percent!

This laptop works great. Plays games with little to no lag. Update is seamless for MS and Bios. Keyboard is easy to use. Monitor works great with the Nvidia card.

This laptop has great power and forward compatibility when you want to take advantage of newer video cards in the future. But one downside is that this thing gets hot! Temps jump to the 90c when running games on high. These settings are what you bought this gaming laptop for so running below that is basically wasting your money. Had to undervolt the CPU and prevent throttling just to get to acceptable temps down to 70c on load. Still hot but manageable. Get a good underside fan, I know you should be able to run your laptop without other accessories but it is what it is.

Wanted to purchase a new laptop for work, but I like to play games while travelling. This computer met all the specifications I needed and more. I love it

Lightning fast start up. Runs games really well even with the settings turned up. The only problem I’ve noticed is that it can get hot pretty quickly.

The 1060 in this 15.6" form is the best combo. It is soooo easy to open the laptop and upgrade the RAM, SSD & HD. Easiest I've worked on. Love the options in the bios.

Runs good. No heat problems. Not to heavy. Daughter has been gaming on it. Maybe our internet, but daughter can’t play her games on the highest quality.

This laptop blew me away with its performance. I got it on a clearance sale so it was an even better deal, but overall it works even better than i expected.

The Dell - G7 Gaming Laptop is a great laptop to gaming. The intel i7 with 16GB of memory makes the laptop very quick.

Bought for video, photo and audio editing. Works like a champ. Not a gamer so I have no idea how it works for that. No heat issues doing video editing.

I love the design of this machine, it’s fast but it had some weird glitches causing the screen to stay black.
