I've been using this computer for the better part of six or so months and I'm very happy with its performance to value ratio. It works incredibly well with mundane tasks such as email, basic internet browsing, streaming, software applications such as Office, etc. It shines with gaming, too. I've played games like Gears of War, platformers, etc., all with great success. It's nice to see Dell make a quality product in 2019; their reputation and quality seemed to dip a bit in previous years.

This computer is a powerhouse that I love to use on a regular basis now that I have gotten the chance to use on a daily basis. The computer runs very powerful programs such as Adobe Suite and smoothly with no lag or crashing. I really recommend this to anyone looking for a computer to do video editing or photo editing. This of course can run games such as Call of Duty and Fortnite and many more. If you're looking for something that will run your favorite programs and games then this is your machine you need.

Needed a replacement for my old laptop! This one was great for all my needs! Super fast, and the solid state components are great.

So far everything works great. Start up is super quick, speed is amazing and overall the CPU is a great deal considering the price. A new cell phone cost the same price by the way. A week after I purchased this CPU it went on sale and Best Buy credited me the difference with no issues. Played a couple games so far and works perfect. You can hear the fan running but only during big games and it is very normal for any gaming CPU. The laptop gets a little hot in one spot but no issues after gaming for several hours.

This computer has all the bells and whistles for a computer. The look is sleek like a gaming computer. the back light on the keyboard this bright blue is awesome. I never had a small ssd and a large hdd before on a computer took me a minute to adjust for this fact. The only reason i'm giving four out of five stars is the fact that the screen resolution is so low for such a powerful video card you almost have to connect it to a tv to get the full hdr out of this video card.

Great for games and school needs. Fans are kind of loud but does keep computer cool. Decent price for why you are getting.

Excelent pc, fast, play games like assassins creed, black ops III, fornite but it is heavy. The keyboard is beautiful

Slim and slick design with good performance. Great value for the money. Cooling fan is a bit noisy and annoying though.

I have owned this laptop for less than a year. The power button has a thin plastic over it that is peeling off, there are several other plastic parts that are always catching on my bag and popping off, there are 2 places on the screen where the pixels are lighter than the rest, and the sound is almost nonexistent. The SSD is nice, but that is about all I like about the laptop. I don't think I will ever be buying a Dell again. Absolute terrible craftsmanship.

I am starting to get into photo editing and gaming, this computer helps me with both. Runs fast with great graphics.

Great product from Dell. The eighth generation i7 processor and the NVIDEA GEFORCE GTX 1060 make it a very powerful laptop.

I’ve always had good luck with Dell computers and the streak continues with the Dell G7. I replaced the 1TB HDD with a Samsung SSD for storage and this laptop sings. I can play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which is a very demanding game with a mixture of High and Medimum graphics at 60+ FPS with no thermal throttling. I also like the build quality which is much better than some other gaming laptops I have used. Would recommend this laptop for gamers that need power and mobility.

Value for money, great design. I use it for photoshop and video editing and its speed makes my life easier.

I just purchased the G9 Dell Gamming PC, I find it very nice to use I like that I can hall it around with out any effort, I use to take my Desk Top with e when I went to our vacation home, this is much easier to handle. I am pleased with the speed in witch the apps load, and the quiet fan. My only regret is it dosent have a CD/DVD RW. the battery is good only down 15% after a few hours of use. I will write another review as I get use to everything this laptop has to offer.
