We're sorry to hear about the slow performance that you're experiencing with your Chromebook. We'd recommend the following steps to check for updates on your computer:
1. Turn on your Chromebook.
2. Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi.
3. At the bottom right, select the time.
4. Select Settings.
5. Select Menu and then About Chrome OS.
6. Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll see which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook is using.
7. Select Check for Updates.
8. If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.

didn't meet our needs

We returned them for a store credit and were able to upgrade to the laptops that we needed.

Its a chrome note book. Not as fast speed as i would of liked. But for a 6th gradee didn't want nothing too expensive due to age base. But u couldn't beat price.

You are not able to download many things. It was originally purchased for my son who is a gamer. Bought an HP instead.

I needed something cheap I wouldn't worry about too much when I was doing more casual stuff like carrying in my backpack to work or sitting around waiting for the kids at some activity. The cost was right so I got it. For the money it's pretty good. Reasonably fast. The screen best viewing angle is very very narrow, move more than 4-5 inches from it and the screen appears yellow and stuff gets hard to see. The speakers are not so good either. Maybe at this cost you should still compare your choices.
