Win10 memory hog
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The computer screen size and keyboard are fine, just right as a portable, go-anywhere computer. The RAM and hard drive are not expandable, and the Win10 operating system is too much for the specs. Win10 hogs the entire hard drive! Operation was slow, and updates would fail for lack of memory. I replaced Win10 with Lubuntu Linux and is been great every since. I recomend only if you're going to use Linux.

We're sorry that your computer is running slower than you'd like it to. We'd recommend running the Windows Performance Troubleshooter to see if you can find a way for it to run faster:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.

No, it doesn’t have a lot of disk space, but this laptop serves the purpose of what I wanted it for: word processing and internet surfing/shopping. This will come in handy during my recovery after surgery at the end of this month. If you expect something to store media or large programs, then look elsewhere. If you’re looking at something just for processing documents and internet surfing with a few small games, this laptop will suit you. This is a little slower than what I’m used to with my desktop, but it isn’t bad. So many people have left bad reviews all over the Net on this laptop, but that’s because they think this laptop should be something it’s not.

Most of the less expensive ones looked very cheaply made but this one is a very nice looking computer. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this unit as an open-box product with no power cord. At the time I didn't have too much to spare as far as the budget for a new computer goes and all I knew was that I needed something reliable and within my budget. I found the power cord online and within a couple of days, I was up and running. While I have replaced this computer with a far more superior laptop, I use this now for my kiddos and homeschool, and its perfect. Don't expect out of this world performance as it only has 4GB memory and a 32GB flash memory, but connect an external drive to it and you'll be fine.
