This is a laptop that performs very poorly. It is very slow - most likely due to the fact that pre-loaded programs and apps take up 21 GB of the 24GB memory. You can remove a few of the apps but not enough to make much difference. It's internet performance is very slow also. The only positive is that it is small and lightweight.

I bought this computer for my daughter who lives away in a college dorm. She loves it. It even came with Microsoft Office for 1 year. Great little laptop for the $$$$$

I need a cheap windows computer to carry on the go and I could put in my motorcycle bags with out worrying about it. This fit the bill. It does all the little stuff I need and was not bad on the pocket book.

I needed a laptop with Windows to ease my courses I’m taking thru school but didn’t want to pay much. So many updates have already taken up the little storage space I had.

Got this laptop for travel to Europe. Great choice, crystal clear picture for the conference as well as a 19 inch screen. Worked well with keyboard and mouse, and was small enough to even allow me to work on the plan!

Picked this up to take on the road with me when I was traveling. Didn’t expect much but it had difficulty just processing email. Web navigation consistently lagged despite trying a number of networks. It was fairly light but felt cheap and flimsy but for $200 I should have known better. It was retuned in the first 3 days and replaced with a Surface Tablet (which was worth the extra money).

I bought this laptop one year back.Battery is excellent.Laptop works great without any issues. There are no lags when browsers are opened in multiple tabs.Just uninstalled unnessary softwares and using cloud for online storage. A must buy from Best Buy!

This is an inexpensive solution for those who just want to surf the internet without smudging up a tablet screen. It also plays older games surprisingly well, and is fast enough for streaming media. Don't expect to play AAA games with all the bells and whistles.

The new Dell compact laptop was a great deal at a great price. It works very well and is easy to use and light weight. Great for minor work and to carry on road trips. Good product and quality for the money.

This has a good amount of power for web browsing and checking email. I wouldn't buy it if you plan on doing any gaming or need any processing power for movies or multi tasking. I am using it for a light program on occasion for data logging so it fits my needs.

Great machine for a little laptop. I bought this to replace an old huge heavy one, and I love it. Is so easy to pack around, it’s touch screen and folds back. I take it everywhere now. Works like a charm.

I didn't need a power computer, I just needed a simple Windows Based PC that could access Internet based items, so this little thing looked like the perfect fit. Well, that is until tried to update the PC (on day 1) with the needed Windows Updates. Ironically, this DELL PC doesn't have enough memory to download and install the windows update. Then when trying to use either the microSD or a Flash Drive, the updates would continue to fail. All and all what I thought would be a simple little item that I could use turned out to be a hassle. This PC doesn't have the necessary amount of memory to support required function in the modern world. A shame, coming from a name like DELL. Anyway, this PC is going to be returned to Best Buy.

I purchased this for browsing and light tasks like email checking but it disappointed me. I know this is the cheap laptop but if it didn’t satisfy the very basic tasks which we do it on day to day basis there is no point in building such kind of laptop. Audio jack port is awful, my wife used this laptop it for an official call, Audio was working on and off, we have changed the headset but the issue still persists. Please have a good build with Ubuntu and for light weight applications, that’s the best OS I could recommend. I am gonna return this laptop in few days after taking the backup.

This computer works great. But windows 10 sucks up all the memory so much the screen blacks out. It needs more memory.

I say this because I bought this laptop only to run Microsoft Office apps and to occasionally do e-mail and surf the web. I have not installed any other apps on this computer, and I haven't even used it that much, but after a few Windows 10 updates it now boots up slower, runs slower, occasionally freezes and takes longer to shut down than my old computer, which my kids had installed all kinds of resource-sapping junk on, and which is also infected with Windows 10.

The system didn't have enough memory to update windows 10, so I installed a Linux distro and now I use it as my travel laptop.

Even though I prefer 8GB and a bigger SSD drive, this is good for a college or high school person who needs to type up things and its nice it comes with a year of Office 365 Personal. For the price of $120-150 it isnt a bad machine for the cost

This product is perfect for doing homework and taking notes in class. I carry this computer to work daily because it is lightweight and compact.

Bought it for my wife to use for her business. Perfect for traveling as it fits perfectly in her purse. Bought a 128gb sd card so laptop now has plenty of space for programs and documents.

While not truly a powerful machine, this little baby allows me to access my web-based apps and get things done. It is light and perfectly sized for taking on trips and toting around town.
