System requested automatic updates, which halted due to lack of free space. And this was after ONLY installing MS Office Suite, zero other programs ever came onto this laptop. A total bust of a purchase! Pay a bit more and get a normal, operative, capable system with appropriate space and processing speed. I basically shelved this as a doorstopper within a month. Only 1 STAR!

Thanks for your review. We're sorry that the boot-up time for your computer is longer than you had hoped it would be. We'd recommend limiting the number of programs that boot at startup. You can limit these programs by following these steps:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press CTRL + Shift + ESC key together on the keyboard.
3. In the Task Manager window, click Startup tab.
4. Select the program or application that you want to disable from loading during startup.
5. Right-click and select Disable.
6. Repeat Step 4 & 5 for all the programs or applications that you want to disable from loading during startup.
7. Restart your PC.

I bought this laptop needing an upgrade for school and right out of the box, it was UNBEARABLY SLOW!!! Even after updating well over 12 hours overnight, it was still slower than a legless turtle, and I have witnessed such a turtle move faster than this laptop. I feel like this was the click bait of Dell computers and that is saying something since never before have I had an issue with a dell computer. I was very disappointed and returned it within the week.

Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear how upset you are with your new Dell computer. If you have similar issues in the future we'd recommend that you run the Windows Performance Troubleshooter so that you can see if there are ways to speed up your computer:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.

NEW - DOESNT WORK

I went out of town with the laptop tried to login and it wouldnt accept the password - it never accepted it again. When I returned home I was now past my window to return it, and Geek Squad wanted $50 to attempt to fix it bc I was past the return window - BTW I was told to take it to Geek Squad from a Best Buy Chat rep. - I left that POS on the counter at the store and walked out. - Waste of time and Money DO NOT BUY
