My daughter was looking for a compact computer and we talked to the best buy rep who recommended this one and my daughter loves it to death.

This laptop is really a great deal, it is small and compact and does everything a larger laptop does.

Wish the Microsoft Office was more than just six months. I was told that it came with the computer so I thought it was a permanent feature

Bought this for my 17 year old for a starter personal lap top. Low price great quality buy my son has been able to use for school as well as surfing the net. Moves fast and meets basic needs of a computer. I would recommend this for people looking for affordable options that get the job done.

Good for running a few programs. Beware the hard drive is practically full out of the box.

I quickly realized the computer has no storage space. I can even download an Antivirus.

Had to take it back to the store because it had no sound. The young man who helped me, Adam, was terrific. Also, I was told it came with a year of Microsoft Office, but it didn't. I called to inquire and was told none came with a year, though it was listed on the box. When I went in because of the sound issue, I was told that perhaps I didn't get it because it was an opened box. Kind of a hassle.

It is a little touchy on the keypad, but overall this Dell is worth the money and travels well.

This laptop is just not enough these days to even do simple things like surf the web. Most of the time I could never use it because the virus scanner was updating or Windows was updating. Once it's doing something you can't do something else. If you can use it off the internet with no virus scanner it might work for you.
