I bought this for my 12 year old grand daughter and she uses this for school and other fun stuff. She Loves it and tells me about all the different things she is working on. Her grades are up and I feel the Dell Inspiron Lap top is a great advantage to her academia.

I bought this laptop for my teenager and she loves it!

It was a great laptop at the start. I needed something small and cheap for school, especially since I can be accident prone. I didn't download any extras, just used it for internet and Microsoft word. Saved everything on jump drives. It was simple, decently fast, and got the basoc job done. Then after 1 month of owning it, one day it just wouldn't start again, for no reason. 6 months later, still won't get past the Dell start up screen. Not paying over $100 to repair a $200 laptop. I'm just going to have to invest into a better one next time!

I love my laptop!!! It is a great size!! I also got a great price on it!!! I am a college student and I told my lab partner about my laptop and she went out and bought herself one and loves it !! I would definitely recommend this product, my laptop works great!!

The computer comes with microsoft software free for the first year. Along with the memory stick it will be sufficient for my 7th grader's needs at school next year.

I bought this on sale and used a gift card so I paid very little for this. If you have reasonable expectations you won't be disappointed. The screen is very nice for a laptop in this price range. The exterior is quite slippery and feels like pretty cheap plastic. Overall looks are nice though, it has a pretty cool design. I was looking for an ultra portable for the cheapest price possible, mostly for word processing and light web surfing. This little guy does the trick. I give this 5 stars only because of the incredibly low price. If I had paid full price or it had been higher I probably would have dinged it pretty hard due to the slow performance (processor seems to get maxed pretty easily) and minimal storage. A couple of tips. Don't open more than 2 tabs in your browser. Also, it might help if you get an ad blocker extension to help eliminate some of the multimedia ads that would bog this down even more. You WILL need some sort of other storage on this whether it be an SD card or a USB drive. When I first updated, there wasn't enough room so I had to take windows suggestion and move the update files to my other storage card.
