For the price that you pay for witch is not much, you get a laptop that you will be able do your web browsing and other basic computer task. Not a gaming laptop and its a little slower than the more expensive laptops but it is still good value. Start up is fast and you get windows 10, battery life is pretty long a least 9 hours.

It was on sale at a $60.00 discount, I could not resist this little machine. I bought a chrome book a while back and it does nothing that I want it do it. This little machine is small, lightweight and good for writing on the go. I love the touch and feel of the keyboard. I believe (do you research and do at your own risk) the 3000 series can be upgraded especially the hard drive if 32GB doesn't work for you. You can look into that more if you're interested. I also love the sleeve that came with it.

    Very basic laptop

Wasn't sure at first if I was keeping this laptop. I had storage space issues like other reviewers (23gig of 28gig used) prior to installing any apps. This didn't leave enough space for Windows to update. However, with some poking around I found a backup copy of Windows on the hard drive that was scheduled to deleat itself in 30 days..? After manually deleting that backup and some unwanted apps Windows was able to update and I had just under 10 gigs of free space remaining. I also choose performance over appearance in settings. With that said I have had no problem streaming Netflix movies or YouTube videos. Surfing with Explorer is responsive and trouble free too. I don't play games so I can't comment on that but overall, especially for the price, I have no complaints.

I bought this laptop for my 13 year old for school/projects. It provides her with everything she needs and more. Great for beginners or even those who need a laptop for basic necessity. Wifi, Microsoft 365 subscription and enough storage space to save her files/papers/presentations for school. Not the laptop you're looking for if you have uber files, music and photos you want to save. Overall, A+ for its intended use and the price to match! Saved me some serious $ for my kiddos first laptop. Plus, it's compact, lightweight and easy to transport.

Bought two laptops under $300 for my nephew and I. Great value for online homework, email, web browsing, online music streaming (Apple Music, Spotify). Also comes with 1 year subscription free Office 365 (Word,Excel,Outlook,Access,Notes). In addition, it also comes with 1 year of cloud storage 22g to store photos, music, documents, etc.. (Dropbox). However, the storage is limited to 32g of memory, but with scandisk memory card of 128g will make it better. OVERALL, I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR SIMPLE COMPUTING TASKS AND GREAT FOR A BUDGET COMPUTER.

this laptop is pretty slick for the $129 sale price. fast, but I just use it for the web, won't be storing much on it, does have 10 gb free. I really wanted a large screen tablet but they are so slow unless you spend big bucks. display looked washed out. I dug thru the color options and increased the saturation, looks better now.

I needed a new laptop and money was tight and this being the cheapest one. I couldn't go wrong with it. It's lightweight and portable. It's not the fastest computer on the market it but if you aren't doing high tech things then this is perfect for you

if you are light user and dont want to spend a a lot of cash, then it will be great. just dont expect a lot. good for writing your school reports and watching youtube videos. if you open more than 3-4 brower at the same time, you will see the lag. you can always upgrade to 4gb ram but that doesnt really make a lot of difference because the processor speed is low. great for kids and people who does not use big softwares. great for travel because it is light and has about 9 hrs battery life from my experience.

Title says it all. This laptop will keep your money in the bank. It's a good price for what you get. I regularly use a Mac but for school I need to use the R Program and it's troubling when installed on a Mac. Upon purchasing I uninstalled apps that have been mentioned in other reviews. I have installed Microsoft Office and the R program. Everything works fine. There haven't been any issues. I named it Thomas after 'Thomas the Train' because it's the little computer that could.

I was in the market for a small laptop and the Inspiron 11.6 fit the bill. It's great for surfing the Web, home productivity, emails and movies. It could be more powerful, but for the price it more than gets the job done.

Good basic laptop, not fast but usable

This little laptop does what I want it to, which is to run a laser engraver. It is a "no frills" laptop, meaning basic connection ports, no touch screen, not a "transformer" or 2-in-1. Having Office 365 is a bonus, which bumps this up from 3 to 4 stars. However, what prevents it from being 5 stars for me is two issues: First, I don't use Cloud storage, and the 32GB SSD is barely enough to run the OS (Win10) and software. I had to add a microSD card to be the "D" drive so I could prevent the "C" drive from overloading; second, the Celeron processor is a little slower than I was hoping, not terrible, but not awesome either. But for the price, its a totally usable little laptop, with very decent battery life and nice lightweight portablility. Since it only has two USB ports, I also like to use this "docked" to my USB hub for standard keyboard, mouse and printer, and connected to my 20 inch monitor through the HDMI port provides nice, large video output.

    32MB + Windows 10 + Office 365 = DISK 100% FULL

This is a fantastic laptop for the money. Small, light, quick, perfect for web-based application use. iTunes loaded no problem. Flash drive means super fast boot times restart / power down etc. Four star laptop! So imagine my significant frustration and anger after installing the included one year Microsoft Office 365 subscription and finding that the 32MB disk immediately filled up to 95% capacity. This massive OS and Office 365 Home Edition takes up THAT MUCH SPACE I thought for a moment I would just spend $25 more and simply add a 64 or 128MB micro USB stick. Unfortunately a few hundred megs free disk space is nowhere near the margin needed to practically operate Windows 10. Windows 10 couldn't even install any updates! In short, this bundle is useless as advertised. I called Dell who confirmed my findings. They told me to return this laptop to the store for one with more disk space if I plan to run Office 365, which of course I do/did. So this Laptop as bundled gets ONE STAR. The Laptop alone, as a stand alone cheap web surfer and light word processor, gets FOUR STARS, but sadly that's not what is being sold here.

For everyone who has written bad reviews about this, you must have really high expectations of what it can't do. This isn't a gaming laptop or something that is to be stretched. I bought this open item from my local store with expectations to use Microsoft, and internet. It's PERFECT for that! I know it's not a gaming laptop, or built for heavy use...but I needed something for class and travel. The WiFi is great and have no problems at all. After office is installed, I still have 12GB free out of 28GB. Not too shabby.. This is a perfect laptop for the student or traveler. Super light.

    1) After installing Windows 10 updates and restarting, I got a low disk space warning. I fixed this issue by deleting the previous version of Windows and some temporary files. I don't expect my relative in her 80's wants to do this. This somewhat a Microsoft Windows issue but you do need to update Windows for security reasons, according to Microsoft. 2) Pulling up news from the Google News page on Antonin Scalia, the CPU went to 99% utilization on task manager and the web pages were slow to respond.

It is low end, so I never expect it perform heavy duty work. It is good enough for browsing web, write document. (full keyboard helps), on the road The beauty here is "cool".. Since it does not packed with huge computation power, it runs so "cool"(temperature). I have a few powerful laptops, I am tired of laptop fan constantly blow hot air from side of machine and noisy. Battery life is also a plus. It runs 8 hours before charge, It is exactly what I need.
